Good morning Parker! Can you show us your set up sometimes. I was wondering if g do you use a 3 way swivel for your set up.
@AikenAngling4 ай бұрын
@@daleperine4202 mornin brother! Yeah sorry I didn’t show it in this vid, I almost always show it in my spillway stripe videos so check my most recent ones of those! I’ll be sure to include the rig in all vids from now on. But to answer your question, no, I just use a two way swivel, I tie my main line to one end, and then my leader in the other. I use a palomar knot to add a 1oz weight to my leader, about 6 inches above my lure. Using a palomar allows me to take the weight on and off without cutting the line. 3 way swivels are great to use here for catfishing since you want your weight to be separate from your lure, but I find trying to cast a three way over and over for stripes just gets too tangled. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching man!

Can i ask you about your bomber rig for hybrid? What jigs do you use for them? My bomber rig sink under when I cast it out it that supposed to happen? Or I am just using to heavy of a jig?
@AikenAngling4 ай бұрын
@@CloudFT it shouldn’t sink much, sometimes I’ve notice mine sinking a bit, but they usually still stay really close to the surface so as long as your line is tight it shouldn’t sink, but it could be your jug weight, I only use 1/4 or 1/8oz jig heads with the Bomber rig.

@@AikenAngling oh okay, what the size of the hook do you use?
@AikenAngling4 ай бұрын
@@CloudFT my current favorite jig head is the “trout eye jig head” made by Z-Man. I usually use 1/4oz, but will sometimes use 1/8. They both come with a really strong and compact size 2 mustad hook. You can find em online easy and sometimes bass pro carries them
