I'm with Beard here: Those Prosecutors or whatever they're called being able to come back via Reinforcements seems very unbalanced. I don't see how a Skaven player would ever win this, actually

From other reports it seems the key is to leverage the Skaven infantry as bogs since they not only keep coming back but heal themselves a lot while the snipers do their thing. One strategy might be to actually not fully kill them but neuter their numbers so they have to waste a turn charging and dying to bring in a fresh squad while the Skaven take the points.

I've been on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster watching a few channels put out the spearhead content: I got excited to show it off to new players to get them into the game, but now I'm pretty worried GW did a terrible job balancing spearhead armies if the two box factions are so mismatched... Still very excited for fourth and will absolutely check out anything else AoS y'all do though!

I don’t understand how the Stormcast are able to bring in Liberators and Prosecutors as reinforcements. From the previews, I was under the impression that only the clan rats in this game would have been able to reinforce and that reinforcements was a key balancing mechanic to make armies like Skaven be able to stand up to Stormcast. Disappointing if this is not the case

when you modify a unit's control score, is that for the whole unit or per model in that unit?

Control Characteristic is per model, Control Score is the unit's total. So if something says add 4 to a unit's Control Score, it adds 4 total, not 4 per model 🙂

I think in this instance, it’s clear that the Stormcast have superior rules/abilities to the Skaven overall. We’ll play more though and see if that comes out in the wash!
