We’ll only reduce the amount we cover it, if too many people lose interest in the game and stop watching it. We are obviously going to be led by what the majority of the audience want. Hopefully this time, the game has more interest with the new edition than it has had previously :)

You can still reroll a charge after seeing the initial roll. Looks more closely to the ability using sequence, you declare reaction after the declare step, and the roll for charge is in that step.

Yes someone else pointed this out to me over OnDemand. Good to know for next time, the new layout of rules is a big departure from the usual GW style I need to approach it more carefully for the time being 😅

with regard to the all out attack for the shooting, im not sure you can do that with covering fire as that would be issuing multiple commands to the same unit in the same phase.

FWIW - Only 1 command per unit per phase so you wouldn’t be able to issue all out attack to a unit that has received the covering fire command ability would not be able to receive all out attack

I believe the +1 to hit and wound Vs your opponents generals regiment is to cause some counter play to one drop regiments/battalions that became the meta at the end of 3rd. You can build a one drop and get to pick who goes first... But you take that negative. Or you put very little in the generals regiment and have a multiple drop.

That would propbably lead people to have just 1 unit in the general regiment. Possibile correction would be to have it work against the honor guard only or malee only (still good).

I've never really got on with the season rules if I'm totally honest. They've always felt tacked on for the sake of it, and never really felt balanced, and this is more of the same, in my opinion at least. Good thing is people can play how they like, so if you're liking the sound of them then that's a win too 🙂

@@jb87rell Unfortunately you end up with merciless blizzard which shouldn't have ever made it past testing, especially when you're also gaining additional casting die. GWs have a hard time keeping factions in balance without adding disruptive variables on a seasonal basis.

@21:06 No idea what you're talking about, it's super easy to grok and gets rid of all the unnecessary "roll a d3 to see if you roll another d3". Speeds up and streamlines abilities like that.

Plenty of others have said its clunky, and once you've done it a few times it's easy enough. Just feels arbitrary to say it's to save time, may has well have just said "on a 3+, do 2 Mortal Wounds" every time that rule comes up 🤷‍♂️

Also you can avoid priority target by putting only certain units or 0 in the generals reg. You have a choice. It may not affect ranged on Mondays FAQ and errata, but it is easy go avoid.

You know what I’ll take + one plus one against units that I can dictate by not taking units in the regiment. Over anything in this battalion gets plus one damage. Like we had against battle line units or wizards in previous seasons.
