As a coder, I think it’s because Malz’s ult only applies the suppression on yone and doesn’t change his position. While Skarner’s E applies suppression and also changes his position as well

Probably. In league movement can be overwritten with other movement, that's why Tristana jump can overwrite blitz grab and other way around

As a potato farmer, I think it's because when Skarner charges he digs up wild Yukon potatos that then absorb Yone's spirit, preventing it from returning to his original body. But Yone's spirit is so powerful it manifests in the potato mass and reshapes them into a new body.

@@Sebastian-oz1ljthat’s intended, it’s due to buffering as it’s not instantaneous. Similarly Tristana can do the same. What happens is the Blitz will pull ezreal. Moments before the CC is applied, Ezreal uses E which starts the cast. CC is applied but the cast is still going. As Ez is being pulled he finishes the blink to safety. Another similar one is if you have enough AH (or play URF) Sylas can cancel his own E2 with E1 if timed properly. It’ll do the damage but interrupt the dash.

There’s also a fun interaction with yi. If skarner uses his e after yi uses their q it seems to always catch them after his q ends

I imagine that's only when Master Yi uses his Q on Skarner, because Master Yi always ends up in front of the target that he used Q on. So if Yi used Q on Skarner while Skarner is charging, he'll spawn right in front of Skarner and get pinned immediately. Just wanted to differentiate the interaction with Yone (who is unstoppable during E2 and still gets caught) and Master Yi (who isn't getting caught mid-Q, but rather immediately afterward)

The minion Skarner pulls the minion Yone:Spirit to minion Yone's location instead, everything happens so instantly that you wouldn't see it. If you keep replaying 1:10 and pause at the right moment, Yone becomes 'red' indicating the gap/points between the two are no more.

This is definitely a bug that will be kept as a feature, just like Yone escaping from Mordekaiser's ult with his E, which is like a totally opposite interaction, yet both are about to live together

Yone cant escape Morde R wirh E though. His E2 is completely disabled for the whole ult, even if he uses it in-bounds. It can cancel his r in the cast time, but even walking into bushes does that.

@@Bluepenguin28nah that should exist cause it not only makes sense, since morde only takes you there not your summon, but also cause it incentivizes smartly saving your ult for the right occasion, like when you get ulted so you summon it in morde ult, instead of just spamming it off cooldown

I also found interesting that Mordekaiser's ult on Yone while on E makes Yone unable to cast E again until the ult is over, Riot did this because if Yone's body was outside of Mordekaiser's ult, Yone can cast E again to get out ot the ult, so they make Yone unable to cast his E2 if he was on Mordekaiser's ult, but it is unconsistent if the body is inside the ult, as resulting, Yone cannot execute E damage, causing sometimes a Mordekaiser being able to have a shield and mitigates E damage, but on the other hand, Yone can have more time while on E (Remember one time that my E lasted for 11 seconds rather than the 5 seconds), making it to increase the damage to Mordekaiser until the ult is over. If timed perfectly, Yone E can last a total of 12 seconds. To be fair enough, before the solution of Riot, an average Yone was a good counter of Mordekaiser's ult, but after the solution, a very good Yone is a perfect counter of Mordekaiser's ult, so it gives Mordekaiser players a chance to beat Yone, andat the same time rewards good Yone players.

Creio que a interação do skarner ao oponente é atualizada constantemente. Por isso no caminho do yone ate a sua volta conta como o skarner esteja pego ele naquela distancia não no ponto do corpo original. Creio que a riot está orgulhosa dos testes mas oque mais preocupa é o skarner ficou é tank e não um lutador - tank a sua escolha.

if riot fixes this for yone's side, im losing it im actually uninstalling. by riots current philosophy, any newer champ mechanic trumps any old one, Zoe ult ALWAYS takes her back no matter what she gets hit by. following this logic, Sett (who was released after Zoe) is the only champion who can take zoe out of her ult, with his ult.
