i know object manipulation overhaul isn't a focus of this video but i just wanted to mention how gamechanging this mod in particular is. we could actually see the ability to fully customize and decorate homes and locations like the settlement building system in fallout 4 after all these years with this mod as a framework in the future. that's crazy

One handed axes should have a bonus against shields. There were techniques taught to axe wielders to catch shields and pull them away. This was a Norse battle technique and one of the reason for the development of bearded axes.

I've used the inquisitive dragon mod. It's a cool concept, but sometimes it doesn't make sense. Watching a dragon fly 20 feet above the tallest building in Riverwood and no one panicking (even with run for your lives) is odd. I personally think it would be better if dragons only did the perching high up where citizens would realistically not take notice.

Or if the average citizen did panic and run away, even if the dragon swooping low doesn't trigger combat. Imagine a dragon swooping 20 feet overhead, everyone fleeing for their lives... and the Dragonborn just casually keeps browsing the market stalls.

Along a similar vein would be really cool to see something similar to Inquisitive Dragons for Giants. Being intelligent ancient creatures, would be cool if instead of just mindlessly thudding around camp, they could sit down by the fire or gather water, make cheese or paint rocks etc. Could also come across them hunting by the road or something, too.

Or just have them not be instantly aggro the moment you get near them. Yeah OK, they've had some rough experiences, but surely they recognise that not EVERY Small Being is a threat to be sent into orbit

There should be a speed buff with the smaller shields in ultra shields as well as a lower nerf to speed for the bigger shields to even them out better.

Recently my system got corrupted pretty bad or my ssd got shorted. and i had to reinstall windows from scratch on a new drive. So all the mods i downloaded for skyrim vr are gone . I dunno if i want to spend all day downloading them again. They were fun while it lasted but im honestly going to wait until beyond skyrim cyrodill comes out or something. Most of the big quest and new land mods i played already. Dunno how many times i played the skyrim main story. Vr or not.

Good overview with links to older mods, like 'Run for your Lives'. I had completely forgotten about that mod. I'm going to be controversial and say that I don't like the Dismembering Framework. For me it's just too far fetched and immersive breaking, but there are many who love it, so I hope it gets developed with weapon styles better considered when developing actual damage. Wavy Waterfalls is fantastic. These little details make the world of Skyrim feel real and it's great to hear the author is going to develop it.

yes no crashes encountered so far, but when you try to dismember a burnt body the severed limb will be reverted back to its normal skin texture

I know Dismembering Framework definitely isn't as it uses SKSE, as for the others I'm not so sure. I had a look but couldn't find much on them. I'll try to make sure I have the info ready if I make another mod showcase :)
