My system is older, so I have sometimes trouble to get my mod up and running in the first place. So I don't know if edging is the right thing for me.

You know, I am one of those persons who usually watch videos about "new incredible Skyrim mods" for a couple of seconds... Just because I already saw these mods on nexus and there is nothing new to me in those videos. But you cover mods I don't know about or for some reason didn't pay attention to (ok, except Edge UI and FuzzBeed's mod😂) For this thank you, your videos are interesting!

Same. I stopped watching like 5 channels cos they upload a few days apart with basically the same video. 10 minutes of "[Insert superlative] mods for [insert month]" and it's just 5 mods from nexus that everyone with Internet is already well aware of

I’m gonna be honest I can’t stand edgeui. It takes away literally everything creative or unique about the Skyrim ui. It just becomes the most basic and generic minimalist ui and is not stylized at all. I’m sure some like it and I’m happy for them but it just makes it look so boring to me and I’m sure others

it looks like elden ring copy it's so bad, it's like one of those UI that copies the witcher 3 emblem and put it as UI gross looking

On additional notes, the ui does not match the "close to vanilla" graphic mods set up. Especially for something like my laptop who plays with minimum graphics mods (no enb/reshade).

I guess you haven't seen the other half a dozen "modern" overly bland UI reskins like, prime example as shown in the video, untarnished UI. Edge UI in my opinion is probably the best one as far as "modern" goes. That being said, i'm sticking with dear diary dark my beloved.

At least it is still better than the "modern" Untarnished UI which is also for some strange reason quite popular despite the fact that it looks like an alpha placeholder before you hire a designer who creates an actual interface. I guess we can put it down to the never-ending effort people are forcefully injecting as many darksoulsy elements as possible to Skyrim. You want a nice looking new interface? Choose Dear Diary Dark Mode.

that bg3 music at the beginning caught me off guard because I've meticulously changed most of my skyrim music to bg3 music. That one in particular I use for my main menu theme so I thought I somehow booted up skyrim while I'm at work 😅

Edge UI is really nice if you have been playing skyrim for years or even if you use a different UI overhaul. Its nice to mix things up a bit and gives the game a less vanilla feel. Sometimes when your skyrim looks crazy different because of ENBs and mods, you need a UI that also feels new and updated.

ooooh these all seem pretty interesting! Edge UI looks really cool. Also definitely keeping the sanity one in mind for the future, it could be fun for a dedicated evil playthrough (sad there aren't too many 'evil' vanilla quests tho). Thanks for the video swiizzles, keep it up!! 🙂

What ENB preset are you using? Looks a little like Picho or Cabbage but I can’t tell!

I can't remember the specific armour set, but you are right in saying it's from the "Fallen Champions of Nirn" mod :)

I built my current list around Edge UI. It's just so beautiful. There are contrast issues with the compass honesty. I will just look at the ground to see the icons until it's fixed, or another modder redoes it
