All express trains are to be replaced with vande Bharat/sadharan and all suburban trains with vande metro so there will be very few blue boxes in the (not so)near future

If they can remove this food option then ticket price will decrease by 300₹ and many people can easily travel through it

@@anshultiwari898 AC for travel is not a luxury but a necessity. Non AC coaches made now will be stuck with us for 20 -25 more years, regressing standardization and modernization. AC trains should be mass produced so that the economies of scale will reduce their prices (just like metro trains). Plus, ultra cheap travel acts as an incentive to keep wages low. Down with that!

I just want the IR to work on the upgradation of tracks, I feel extremely disappointed at the average speed of these trains compared to international standards. We get repeatedly mocked by foreigners for this. I mean the tracks should be well upgraded so that these trains can move with like 200kmph. Besides that, it is nice to see that IR is heavily investing in quality trains for public transport and would highly expect such massive investment in the future.

Bg tracks cant handle 180+ speed. Only sg tracks can do that. Thats why RRTS, bullet trains are on sg tracks

​​​@@Dhruv-Kumarhat's not entirely true, BG tracks can be upgraded to atleast 200 kmph and they are already doing this for two major routes, Delhi Mumbai and Delhi Kolkata. But yes IR should involve more companies that can provide low cost high quality tracks for upgradation .

@@Scythe6140 we are building those tracks in hsr bullet trains. First corridor is mumbai-ahmedabad i guess. Speed would be whopping 300 kmph. From present BG tracks if we able to touching 180 kmph then that would be phenomenal. Dont have high expectation from BG tracks. Btw 130-240 comes in semi high speed. So not bad!

The biggest problem of indian railways is not the trains but slow trains because of unavailability of multiple train tracks and no dedicated routes even now fast trains and vande Bharat make other trains delay and slower
