My husband wears suit everyday, and formal shoes and I love when he wears silky socks or even sheers socks, although are not easy to find, everybody are in sport socks.

Interesting question at 4:43 - they assume socks are something "no-one is going to see". All I can say is that I used to think like this growing up and over time I realised people do indeed notice your socks. They may not say anything but they do see them. The fundamental thing is socks are not underwear; they're an accessory like any other, arguably quite an important one. I think Alan Flusser identified two zones to focus attention on where important interplay happens - 1. the triangle at your neck where there is interplay between your shirt, tie & jacket 2. At your ankle where there is interplay between your trousers, socks & shoes
