Those lightning effect in the final boss fights are annoying to look at, hope they tone that down somewhat. It's worse than the flash effect when you get a parry in Mortal Shell.

Soulslike is just a blanket term. Most of the time they play like a souls like game and either have the currency type deaths or could be other aspects. Hollow knight was more Vania than souls personally
