I really appreciate your enthusiasm for Finnish music in Finnish.

Thanks! And UMK is about to be here so I'll be talking a lot about music!

@@espotpod I´m already waiting for the UMK entries to get released. Actually I´ve applied to UMK 2013 with my own song. I didn´t get to the competition. I translated my song from Finnish to English because I thought that it was no point to sing it in Finnish. Now it seems silly. If I would apply again, I would absolutely do it in Finnish. Obviously it´s difficult for a non established artist without an own audience to get through, but on the other hand how many knew Käärijä or Windows95Man before UMK?

"Huurteinen" means a pint of beer that is covered in frost.

I want to make a quick addition. Huurteinen does have that meaning of "cold beer" in colloquial Finnish, but it does also just mean "frosty" and "covered in frost." I needed to say this, because the Finnish subtitle for the first Frozen movie is "Huurteinen seikkailu." And it does mean there's funny student cloth badges of Elsa having a cold beer but still xD

Ok this all makes a lot of sense actually, especially with the album art being a mug of beer

Why do you listen all these bands that people in Finland only listen when they are getting drunk in hillbilly-Pikkujoulus or some corporate parties? You should probably take Petri Nygård or Bät & Ryyd next.

Haha well I happen to be a bit of a hillbilly myself 😂 and I do enjoy Petri Nygård too
