My great grandmother taught me a hack for cleaning oven racks * put them in a large tote with warm soapy water and a couple dryer sheets - soak them for 20 minutes * when you take them out they look new again

I can’t wait to have my own house 😭. This inspires me. I’m currently dealing with neighbors who smoke weed and it gets in my unit. Makes me so mad When I clean then it smells like a skunk pissed all over my apt. Praying to find our dream home this year 🤞🏼

Im so ready to deal with the spring cleaning after this! A hack for keeping the bottom of the oven a bit more clean is to have a baking sheet on there. So whenever something drips, it gets in the sheet which is much easier to clean. :)

Mine comes off too. I am no longer able to get down on my hands & knees due to knee replacement surgery. So my husband takes the door off & I clean it and he does the oven.

I love using my clean setting on my oven. It does smell for a few minutes because it’s melting all the grime that may have spilt on the bottom. I just raise my kitchen windows and the smell goes away.😊

For your toaster, put it in a baking pan! My mother in law does it and now myself. Then you can just clean the pan and the drawer stays clean longer

you did a wonderful job decluttering and organizing your beautiful kitchen. You should put a food tray at the bottom of your toaster that way all the crumbs will fall in the tray... take the tray out clean it and the whole draw is not full of crumbs.

I'll never use the self-cleaning feature because the last time I did, my oven broke. The repairman said it happens all the time...and because people demand a self-cleaning feature, they keep making them even though it often destroys the lock, thermostat and the electronic controls! So keep doing what you're doing!!!.

Enjoyed your video.... you can buy oven sheets to go on bottom of oven, then every time you cook dinner and wash up, just wipe down oven everyday with washing up .... it helps you not having to spend hours bringing oven back up to scratch, and you can change oven sheets every 6 months ...😃

Oven racks come clean with steel wool, better if you can soak in a tub with hot water and a bit of washing powder or even washing up liquid then get the steel wool scourer on it, it will get everything off. Gotta love your attitude & perseverance. Xx

I put one of the turn table things in the fridge and love it! It has our almond milk, ok, and couple things of juice for the kids. Makes the fridge look better and easier to find what you need

Great video! I would suggest to put a piece of foil to fit the bottom of your oven to keep it clean and just replace foil as needed. Keeps it way cleaner for longer :)

I love this! You could move your meal prep bins in the cabinet under the stove and then have that cabinet under the cook top free for other stuff! Since you had so much extra space with just the meal prep containers there ☺️❤️

Also even that I use strong oven cleaners I could never clean perfectly all the nasty greasy stanes and thanks to your video my kitchen is finally clean... I know that smell you're talking about with the self cleaning, I remember my mom doing that when i was little. I use it on my current oven though and it's amazing. I put water in the bottom and when it's done I wipe it out and it's like magic. Theres no smell at all

I was laughing when you questioned if our silverware draws also get dirty as I wondered the same thing just this morning. I went to empty my silverware from the dishwasher and noticed all these little nubs of food, dirt, and grime in my drawer. I mean the only thing that goes in there are very well cleaned items from a dishwasher and I wondered the same thing....how does this get so dirty?

I always use my self cleaning oven. It does put heat in the house so I don't clean the oven in the hot months. The self cleaner does a great job. Now I use an oven liner in the botom of the oven. Works Great.

The oven mats on Amazon are amazing. They catch all the food and you pull it out and wipe it off and it last for a long time. 😉

Put a towel down in your bath, place oven racks on top and sprinkle with washing powder then fill tub with hot tap water until the racks are covered then leave it for as long as you can The grime just wipes off and the racks are so shiny it's fantastic :)

Hi dear, I put some tin sheet foil at the base of my oven so if it gets dirty I just change the foil. I put foil on the top of my top cupboard as well so it's easier to clean it. I just change the foil and jus wipe clean with no need to scrub.

I always always grocery shop Friday morning after school drop off. Where I live walmart runs out of stuff if you shop on the weekends and its just way less busy (I hate shopping in busy stores sooooooo much)

With your oven racks put a towel in your bath and put the racks in the bath, cover them with hot water and put in a couple of scoops of washing powder and let them soak for a few hours. Them get some steel wool and wipe them down and they will come up like new. The more often you do it the better they look. 😊
