Laura, I only saw three chickens in your coup, did something happen to the fourth one? This was such a delightful video! First, there was sweet little Benjamin helping mommy and playing in the dirt and then the water. Seeing him always melts my heart. Then down at the garden center and your mom saying I'm an enabler. The two of you are like peas in a pod! I love your back-alley wheeling and dealing, sure wish I could join you!

Hi Laura, Oh just watching this little video gives me Spring planting fever!!!! Isn't it amazing what planting can do for the soul. I wanted to pass on one of my favorites/must haves for working in the garden. I noticed that you often wear a cute pair of vans shoes when working in the garden and your sweet little man in his tennis shoes playing in the water made me think that you both would love a pair of Bogs to wear. I am on my second pair of Bogs. I used to wear old tennis shoes and my feet would be filthy, wet and cold by the end of the day out in the garden. Now I slip on my Bogs and my feet remain dry and warm. They are my go-to and a definite must.

I’m so glad you did hellebores again this year. I fell in love with them from last years videos. We had several days in the 70’s then a hard freeze and so much rain this year just like last spring. I have to pack in so much garden prep into the one to two days a week it’s not raining. Wish it would snow here. No snow last year either. I have pansies and cabbages right now and like you my gallardia has continued to bloom all winter. Thanks for all the inspiration and advice.
