@dannyovryn412010 күн бұрын
What do you like about the frame lock over compression lock?
@georgiagearguy10 күн бұрын
Why? The compression lock is stronger and can be closed without having you fingers in the cutting path when closing. Frame locks look beefy but very little material actually touches the tang of the the blade. Compression lock is like a puzzle piece locking in to place
@cesarcesar512910 күн бұрын

Yojimbo 2 is my EDC. Love it. At first looking at it I was like WTF, because it doesn't look like your traditional knife. But when I saw a video discussing why it was designed like that, and started thinking about the angle of the blade it suits me for more an EDC self defense knife. Also another thing that sold me was the ability to put the clip tip up or tip down. I like these offerings of the Yojimbo.

Can the steel guys explain, I thought H1 & H2 were the rust and corrosion resistant steel. Is Magnacut the same?
@jacka9392 күн бұрын
Not by any means an expert but here is my understanding: H1 and H2 are crazy corrosive resistant, like more than just about any other knife steels out there. Magnacut is also crazy corrosive resistant, just not quite on the level of H1 and H2. However, Magnacut is very corrosive resistant while offering better balance in other categories that H1 and H2 slack in, such as edge retention. One of my favorite EDC knives is my Para 3 LW Salt in yellow FRN with the Magnacut blade. Love it and while I haven't had it that long, it's tackled everything I've thrown at it so far no problem. Happy to have someone more knowledgeable add to this as I barely know what I'm talking about lol.
