My projects often take twice as long and twice the budget to complete 😢 I just tore the roof off my place. Had heavy tarps to protect when it rained. Reframed and new OSB. Need new flashing. Then rolled heavy self adhesive roofing over top and after two months rolled good quality roof coating over top. That’s the short story. Labour is your friend if you can do labour yourself and not pay other people. Same with my guitars, I learned not to fear the truss rod and do my own guitar set ups.

That sucks 😢 but better that you catch it now than later after the room is finished. That would of really sucked.
