Having lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 47 years, I want to see this after a major hurricane, as it is the tornadoes that take out the homes. We shall see!

The broad side of the building will wear and tear rapidly over time. Monolithic dome homes are more viable in this situation.

A Styrofoam home was built in a subdivision we lived in app 25 year ago. Within 6-7 years the outside walls were crumbling off. Most stucco buildings use Styrofoam trim pieces with stucco sprayed over it today. In a few short years it is crumbling away too. Was this a paid infomercial?

This technology is terrible. Takes forever to build. Also, here in florida, we have materials that can withstand hurricanes. Concrete block!!

I first saw a styrofoam house build some 30 years ago in Australia... it’s a great idea.... and Australia has far stronger building regulations than the US, especially in storm zones, following cyclone Tracy, which destroyed a capital city, way back in the 70’s... that said, I don’t think it caught on

If you live in a subdivision with an HOA make sure they allow this type of build before buying one of these homes
