It’s unreal how a game that was supposed to basically reboot the NES and SNES games has such a stellar soundtrack despite being almost completely original.
@mariotheundying Жыл бұрын
@@lugnut59 you say that like it's so weird and not possible to do, when Nintendo was just continuing the Mario 2D games after a long time without one (last one was Super Mario Land 2 for the Gameboy) and Nintendo most of the time makes a good soundtrack, I don't remember a single bad one tbh

The headphone jack in DS systems was for one thing, to hear every bit of music a game will offer. I'm always watching these and then going and listening to each instrument and channel in game, it's fun for my ears to recognize each part and how it makes the full piece as lively as it is

I play instruments, and even make beats sometimes, and idk if it helps me to appreciate this sorta stuff but it was really interesting seeing all the different parts and “instruments” come together at the end in a satisfying ensemble

0:29 I'm annoyed by the fact that Channel 4 doesn't have a note playing before the "E-EE". Like, why is it "E-EE" not "C-E-EE"? This never made sense to me ever since i've started getting some experience in music, and noticed this.

NSMB's athletic is so uncanny to me. Nice deconstruction Orj. I love how Nintendo used the GB Sound chip and the DS sound chip as well. Btw, how do you get dls files to work in a DAW? Not sure if you use them, But I just wanted to know.
@Orj_Osc2 жыл бұрын
I don't use dls files. In fact, I just need an sdat file and VG Music Studio and then it works perfectly. =p
@mr.oscilloscope2 жыл бұрын
@@Orj_Osc well thanks! I should try out that method for NDS games.
@tescotime Жыл бұрын
@@mr.oscilloscope i use fl studio for dls files. first import the midi and then when the box with import midi data appeares, press "midi out with fruity lsd" in the channel type. then when the fruity lsd box pops up, press the file icon in the top left and select the dls file.
