I definitely understand the complaint about it being the same game, but then I think about the 7-13 year olds who haven't seen a mario before. Imagine a world in which new gamers aren't exposed to mario... I think having some retreads is a decent compromise to keep in the mario memory alive

I suspect that many "Core" games like Bayonetta and SB will work best with the Pro controller, it looks like nintendo won't be making the mistake the made early on with the Wii and require all games to use the Wiimote and is supporting games using the traditional style controls with the U-pad as a secondary controller although the batman port allows the gadgets to be accessed through the touch screen so more 3rd party devs might be learning to use the unusual controller not just tolerate it.

I totally understand the criticism of the lack of creativity in this series specifically, but yeah. You don't have to love the system or anything and there's plenty of critiques to be made, but Jeff should at least allow himself to have fun with what is there (like some of the neat NintendoLand games). Just because you dislike some parts doesn't mean you have to be miserable!

@rocketpunchgo1 Not really, ever notice that a call of duty game has about 5-7 games per system, while New Super Mario Bros series only have "one" in each console in total of 4 games, so yea, another game won't be here for a while.

You're wrong. People only complain about it if it's CoD. And they also complain about things like DLC and online passes. So no, it's not like literally the only thing people complain about. Look at all the other sequels out there. Gears of War 3, Dead Space 2, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed 3, Mass Effect 3. I could go on for so fucking long, because they're all the same.

Unlike super mario galaxy, this is a side scroller. And side scrollers don't tend to focus primarily on the graphics; they usually don't matter much. Either way, these graphics, imo, are the best of any mario side scroller.

Wiiremotes are real controllers. You put batteries in them, and then you control the game. They're not made up in fantasy world. You haven't played NSMBU. Not Borderlands 2. I'm not defensive. I'm not the developer of this game.
