Best next gen game! Seriously, I wish WiiU had more 3rd party support, it'd make things much easier to choose. But as things are now, you have to pick either a console that plays Nintendo games or a console that plays everything else (considering most of "everything else" is a bunch of shooters and games with built in micro transactions).

Unless you feel like you 100% need the exclusives on either PS4 or Xbox One, going PC and Wii U is a great option. I'll be building my own very soon so I'll have the latest third party games for the most part, a backlog of games stretching back decades and all of the other advantages PC brings that I'm sure most people are aware of. Then I might save up a bit more for a Wii U and/or 3DS, because let's be honest, Nintendo's first party output is kickass.

Dajman1594 I'd go that path too, in fact, right now I'm playing on my computer as much as I can instead of the current gen consoles. Games are cheaper and more varied there. But, more often than not, stuff get months delayed (or not launched at all in the PC). Not to mention some publishers get less shit for putting up ridiculous DRM on PC releases than on the consoles. The truth is, without Steam pushing things forward, there would be almost no mainstream PC gaming market by now. Publishers want people playing on the consoles where they have more control over prices, a closed environment and universal copy protection. So they will make an effort for PC to be a harder option.

This is true. However, because the library of games is so huge on PC (Even more so for me as this will be my first build) the delays don't particularly bug me, and thankfully games that are poorly optimised ports promptly get fixed by the great community. And frankly, publishers who impose excessive DRM practices simply won't get my money. If those publishers did come out with a game that I wanted to play but the DRM was there...as much as I hate to admit it and don't condone it at all, I would just pirate it. Hopefully, these companies catch on to CDProjekt's stance on the issue and realise the best way to earn money is not to be assholes.

The game just looks delightful, while it seems impossible to play with 4 players perhaps 2 might be passable and solo it seems like it would be a ton of fun. Just a shame I'll likely never buy a Wii U so won't be able to enjoy it.

Wii-U and PC the way to go? I just ordered my first "high tier" graphics card from a Newegg sale today, should be here next week. I still have some stuff on my PS3 to catch up on, but nothing that's been released on ps4 or xbone that isn't also coming to pc has interested me besides infamous
