Booster Bundles have got to be my favorite product by far. Scratches that pack cracking itch, and for ~$25 the lows don't feel too bad, but the hits feel unbelievable. Grabbed 2 Paldean Fates and Paradox Rift Booster Bundles, and while 1 bundle from each set was weak, the other bundles ended up having the Charizard ex SIR and the Groudon IR, respectively.

Whats frustrating is how close they release these amazing, high demanding sets right next to another. ESPECIALLY around the holidays. Surging Sparks and Prismatic Evolutions being back to back? And near christmas? Sucks. And now I have to miss out completely because Scalpers are gobbling this stuff up. 😢

The only thing I’d recommend is to stay up to date and try to only buy pokemon products during the pre order phase. You’ll get things at good prices and many many big chains and smaller local card shops will also have those pre order deals. I’ve personally decided this will be the way I approach buying pokemon products moving forward

Opened a booster bundle today, got 1 ace spec, 1 ir, and 2 ex. I thought I was lucky considering all the people complaining about the abysmal pull rates, but this rip was just insane!

I wish your Shopify store was more up to date so I can get a pulse of your LGS pricing and just buy direct. I’ve checked out your WhatNot store but majority of products (sleeved boosters, bundles, etc) are over market price. I’m guessing cause of higher whatnot seller fees? Idk I love your content and want to support but don’t want to over pay on WhatNot

I pulled that pikachu rainbow and an exeggutor rainbow and milotic ex from my first booster bundle. opened up the second one i bought and had an exeggutor rainbow and a gravity mountain gold card.

Any opinion on what you should do as a store owner if you over sold on preorders? Is it possible to keep an order on hold and deliver later when allocation allows you to do so?

I definitely wouldn't do that because you're gonna lose your consumer. People preorder to guarantee they get their stuff on or before official release depending on who they order from. Pushing back or canceling orders is a big no no when selling. Some friendly advice is don't sell until you get your allocations confirmed

Brick and mortars were allowed to start selling November 4. Streamers either have connections with people/stores or have access to distributors to get the stuff early.

But opening 6 booster bundles does not equate to anything. You can't say they are better or worse based on that small amount and once you open enough everything pretty much evens out.

yeah it's all anecdotal - the one time they got a loaded bundle influences their thinking from now on when in reality almost all products end up with similar pull rates

SIR = special illustration rare. Ace Specs are new powerful cards for the actual tcg pokemon game. Each deck can only have 1 Ace Spec.
