Hey Sylvain, really enjoying binging on your channel lately and glad Suzuki helps you out with this. I imagine they could make it difficult to post some of this content so its cool they are on board with this. I have a question unrelated to the video. I've not seen in other professional racer's man caves but is it typical for a pro to keep a set of each of their old leathers from each season or is that more of a thing you like to do? Its like it tells your story or racing resume. I like it. Recognize several of the suits and have some good memories of going to some of those races. Anyway great work here with this channel and also doing videos in multiple languages.

I was seriously considering getting a new gixxer thou but one thing that really put me off was the Knox video about instability at high speeds and possible tank slapping with the standard suspension set up. What an incredible riding session. The sound on both bikes 🏍 is exhilarating and breath taking. Can I ask a question? In the first part of the video when you are riding at 299+ that the odometer stops and you pass by him on the right side of the tarmac, how did you know that he was going to switch from the right side to the left side?
@29once4 жыл бұрын
That's the standard trajectory, going all the way to the left to brake for the right hand corner. The one overtaking takes the inside.
@Unfinished_Thoughts4 жыл бұрын
@@29once Correct! that’s the standard but sometimes the one that goes in front takes a little bit more of the inside for defensive purposes but Sylvain even at that speed seemed to know exactly what the other was going to do without hesitating even at that’s speed
@Thomas-qn4hj4 жыл бұрын
@@Unfinished_Thoughts thats your answer, "at that speed" Sylvain was flying down the straight and (what the film doesn't show well) is the pace he is closing in on the guy riding in front of him, also Sylvain uses his brakes way better (made the other rider look like he just stopped), so he knew way before going over the little crest he would close up on him, carry more speed into the corner, out brake him while slipping down the inside, hit the apex, drive hard out of the corner, continue on and win (easy) bet by setting a 1:56.5..........Love this channel.
@Unfinished_Thoughts4 жыл бұрын
@@Thomas-qn4hj That’s very good and thank you for taking the time in answering to make it more clear. I always ask Sylvain all the time to get clarification on some points. Bonjour Sylvain. Quelle vidéo.... Tout simplement sublime. Bravo.

Does anyone know how many of these limited production bikes came to the US? None were sent to dealers in my home state and we found only one in the Carolinas, back in the spring. I've been told that the number was 160, with some being sent back to Japan due to being damaged during shipping...
