I think we need to see the performance at the end of the day to compare both ❤

The T3 side came out prettier. I think the metal of the curling rod heating up helps to set the curls better and I’m sure the curls last longer.

This is so helpful! I've been waiting for this review. Funnily enough I prefer the T3 blowout brush vs. the Dyson. I get NO tension with the Dyson. The T3 really grabs my roots & makes my blowout look smoother on me. So for me it's T3 for the win as personally I get better blow outs plus the better curls with T3 :) I also love the color way of the T3 better but I do agree, it's easy to touch the buttons on the wand. I also wish T3 had a flyaway attachment. Someday!

The T3 side looks so good! I wish they sold the base and curling attachments by themselves. I understand the appeal of these all in one blowout devices but I wish a brand would make one really good coanda effect curling iron.

The Dyson is meant to protect your hair from heat as well. The T3 gets very hot when curling to the point that you can’t touch it causing heat damage in your hair when using it often, on the hand Dyson may not wrap the hair as fast as you want but it won’t compromise your hair. At the end of the day you’re paying for a technology that is also protecting your hair. All these other brands just have look alike but not the research input, materials or the same technology. When you try to do a comparison there’s really nothing to compare it to because is not the same. They look alike but the inside is are like to planets light years away. trust me I have done my research I have read the studies. Dyson is only going to get better is right in competition with Tesla.

This is what I wish more reviews would touch on. I’m interested in a product that doesn’t damage hair as much. Would like to see someone address this, but know it challenges as it will impact upon multiple usage

I have both a Dyson in the UK and a T3 360 for when I travel in North America. I’ve had 3 dysons for long hair and they all stopped working. I had to return and get a new one 3 times. And the one I have now doesn’t even work when I try to use it. They’re defective. I’ve gone down a rabbit hole on Reddit and loads of people are saying the same. Today I was at Nordstrom and the lady who worked there said lots of dysons are being returned. And there are 3 modes for heat for both machines so like just use the one that’s not as high for your hair type so you don’t ruin your hair? They write which ones is what temperature in the manual. I sometimes even use a hair straightener and use it on 150 and it still curls and doesn’t damage my hair.

Also kind of off topic but like today I found out the Dyson attachments work in the shark bendy dupe styler! I was asking the SA for testers for the hair stylers and we were messing around with them and turns out the Dyson attachments fit perfectly in the shark styler!!
@saumyasharma99934 ай бұрын
I agree. Dyson isn't special. It gets pretty hot. You are just paying extra for brand value and marketing. The curls don't even last. And air strait is worse
@Perifore3 ай бұрын
It is always a balancing act between protecting your hair and getting the style and look you want. For some curly or frizzy hair types, Dyson just doesn't get hot enough to work. If it doesn't get hot enough to work, then it doesn't matter if it protects your hair. Not all hair is the same and it is fair to compare styling results and prioritize those over hair protection technology.

Thank you for addressing the Coanda Effect. I have very thick stiff straight strands, and I feel like my Dyson doesn’t quite wrap my hair around the barrels with control. Though I liked both sides of your hair, it’s good to know the T3 Aire 360 has a stronger Coanda Effect. I might get that one now due to your thorough review! 🎉
@Lorelai3826 ай бұрын
Yes, the first generation of the Airwrap grabbed the hair better. The knob is nice but the old version worked better. Nevertheless, the Dyson side looks way better. So much smoother and shiny! Furthermore, the curls will last way longer on the Dyson side…
@livingfreevlogs90326 ай бұрын
300 for just a good curl? I rather get a cheaper curling iron. Dyson is expensive but you get genuinely good quality pieces. A good blow dryer, flatbrush, diffuser, curler and round brush so I feel like price is more justified

I love the smoothness of Dyson's side but the voluminous curls on the T3 side. T3 unit looks super study and as you mentioned like a curling iron. I really like the T3 Micro Aire. Now I love hair tools which give shine from their use. What do you think about the Nano technology? Do you notice any difference using Nano Titanium versus Tourmaline Ceramic? What would be your top 5 tools since you started your channel to recommend for all hair types?
@JulissaGuillen6 ай бұрын
I don't notice too much of a difference using nano titanium vs tourmaline ceramic. This is a great suggestion, I'll be looking into the difference between the materials and how they impact my hair. My five top fav tools are always changing, but I would stay tuned for my favorite hair tools of 2024 video coming soon!

Love T3 my dyson was disappointing it certainly doesn't grab my fine hair well at all! Which gets frustrating. May invest in the T3 as have the two head tool by them& do love it.I also have very curly hair so find it hard when they say 80% dry hair before you start by then my hair is already on its frizz path!!! Lol

It's seeming that no one tool is perfect for everything we need for complete styling. At the price points they command - they should do better. The T3 side looks amazing, btw.

I have the Dyson and just tried the T3. I loved the curls with the T3 over the Dyson BUT they completely fell out after a couple of hours. Looked great at first. And I was so impressed. My hair looked awful after they fell out. I used all the same Prep - WOW volume serum and Raise the Root. Did the same thing happen to your curls ? You should show the end of day results as well.

I tried this T3 recently and it was a MASSIVE disappointment on my frizzy 3b hair (not as dense or thick as yours). None of the T3 blowout tools since the duo have worked for me at all. And only the FIRST duo i used worked well... I had a second duo and it didn't work as the initial one did!
