Tamiya is really upper their game recently. They used to be a little behind the curve but their recent fogures are top-notch. Thank you for the review of these sets.

Defiantly have some nice projects to complete and have fun. Tamiya is a good brand to build in a relaxing and enjoyable way.

I built the motorcycle and sidecar a couple of months ago and it's a lovely kit. One suggestion I have is to leave the handlebars until the end so that you can get it perfectly to match with the rider's hands.

I haven't done a model in years. But did loads as a kid in the 80s and Tamiya were always streets ahead of Revell, Airfix and the other "unknown" brands. I was proud of my creations at the time, but your work is another ĺevel 😅

I built the new Panzer 1 from Tamiya then the Academy kit that comes with a bike and sidecar with figures, personally think the Academy kit was better and pretty good value considering the bike as well. Better animation of the figure as well, Tamiya's looks a little wooden 😇

They were two great looking kits, if I was not a poor old aged pensioner then I may cinsider buying those AM wheels, that's the thing with this hobby there are AM items for just about every kit, andbit is down to the individual modeller what they use, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les

The infantry kit's boots are right, both the jackboots and ankle boots were used during the war, but from 1941 new recruits got only ankle boots. Of course the army cobblers kept the jackboots in working order, because it was much more liked by the men. The uniform tunics look like early war M40 models (5 buttons, pleated pockets), some variations would have been nice for a mid-war kit or some modular parts for gebirgsjager/africa footwear and caps for example.

Nice looking kit's and a very good review, the CMK resin wheels will certainly give a lift to the kit but the kit wheels will be adequate for most modellers. I too am looking forward to the Panzer I, thanks for another excellent review, cheers.

Hi. Thanks for the review. Both nice kits. I have the KS600 in the pile. (And Italeri's 1/9 KS750 which, I think, is still a great kit). As we all know (as Modellers) spokes at 1/35 in plastic are always going to be thick due to the limitations of the moulding process. Like Peter below, I think Academy has done a tad nicer with their spokes/wheels in the Panzer I & motorcycle set. (64AUD/32GBP) The double set gives good value. Smart move by Academy. Cheaper to produce , wider appeal and competitively priced. Having PE spokes in a kit like GWH is nice but the kit is almost twice the cost and has no figures. I paid 27AUD/14GBP for the KS600. The CMK wheels cost 21AUD/11GBP over here (same-ish) but you can get PE sets for 10AUD/5GBP. Cool little kit from Tamiya. (And certainly no reason to get as animated/angry as some folk, after all, it's just a plastic model kit! 😉😁). I do enjoy the channel. Thankyou. Matt🦘🦘🦘

nice looking kits. only thing I can see missing from the machine-gun teams are their ponchos which would finish off their individual kit nicely. cheers

Hi, just purchased the zundapp KS600 and was wondering where you purchased those great looking wheels from, many thanks.

They were by CMK and I got them from Hannants in the UK, they sell out but are quickly restocked

Hello Great videos, love the content. One thing however , could you dim your lights a little. When you were showing the decals, I couldn’t even see them for glare. Don’t mean to criticize, just a suggestion. Cheers Bob

Garbage lame crap. The fact that you have to spend £20 on a £20 kit with AM is a disgrace

Bit strong, it’s a choice and…..it was £10 for the wheels

@@ChampionScaleModelling there are far better motorbike kits than this hackneyed release. This kit is no different than one released about 50 years ago. Let that sink in

Fair enough, I see quite the difference myself but each their own. Thanks fir watching 👍
