I'm so happy you did this review on this bow Mr. Armin. I'm getting the Oak 50# next week. I told my wife that if you like the bow I'm definitely getting the bow. I don't have alot of money due to disability income but this bow is something I can afford. My wife saw this vid and she feels better now because that much money is still alot for me.Thank you for sharing Mr. Armin I appreciate you . Oh , the bow is $ 159.99 on Amazon

Hi! Sir. I went to your channel and saw that beautiful Tatar bow. I am from the City of Ponce, Puerto Rico. I'm a Asiatic style Archer And I have been a follower of his channel and videos that entertain and are very informative for 7 years. I also see it because of his charisma and I love what he does as content. I hope one day to be as good as you and I will continue to subscribe to the channel. My Respects always Bye bye 👋 😁

Another good review. Interesting how the AF Tartar has changed over the years. I have three (yes, they're that good). Mine are the older, longer (55 inches bow, 51 inch string -140/130cm) model. They brace at 6 in/15cm. Smooth, fast, quiet, with no shock/vibration. They were made with Bearpaw glass and EA40 Smooth-On adhesive (yes, it makes a difference), bamboo lams with clear glass and Bubinga veneers. The 3rd I bought has the same specs, but the handle and siyahs were thinner and the string guide was shaped different. Making fast bows is easy. Making fast bows that feel good is harder. Making bows that do both and last at a good price is hardest. AF knows how to do all that.

I recently discovered & greatly enjoy your channel, Armin. I'm 60 yrs old, haven't done archery since my early 20's, & even though I have a couple old shoulder & upper back injuries that play up time to time, I have had a desire to start up again. You have sold me on this bow & I am going to look into it. Thank you!

I've been thinking about getting back into archery and always wanted to learn a way to knock the arrow on the right side of the bow. That led me to Asiatic archery research which led me to your channel. The bow designs for beginners video was great and I love your reviews. Hopefully I can choose a bow soon and get back to the range

Been shooting mine for about a year now, the bow is a champ. The vibration does lessen with use but a beefier counterweight would make it even more enjoyable.

Your reviews are great. Very thorough and informative. I really appreciate the tips and tricks you share. Thank you for your continued work 1 quick question, I have noticed some times you nock the arrow with 1 feather in towards the handle but mostly i see you nock them as a traditional bow (1 feather/vein out from the riser) am I seeing this wrong? I was under the impression you wanted to nock with the feather out from the riser so it doesnt brush off. I am i mistaken or missing something or did i catch a speed loading error? I am still new to horse bow styles so some clarity would be appreciated. Thank you again Mr. Armin

I've watched many of yr reviews and these styles are awesome. I was just looking at this bow on ebay today. There are several woods available. Very gorgeous. I'm in the market to buy my first asian bow. If you have a good bow for sale let me know. Thank you for the videos. It opened my eyes to a new style of archery. Ken

I started with a fiberglass bow. It's a lot more forgiving when it comes to fixing limb twists and dealing with temperature change. Also gives you a chance to learn a lot from mistakes and improve your form. You can get one around a hundred bucks. Some even come as kits with thumb protector, hand protection, arrows, Etc.. So much fun! I got a fiberglass bow from Top archery a year ago and have put thousands of arrows through it with no issue. I believe it's a Mongolian Style. 53" and pulls to 35 lb at 28". I usually draw 29" - 30".

I got this same bow (in the post) in a 25lb as I'm a novice and in my 70s. I've done the finger tip to finger tip test, and my draw length is 27.5 bow 25lb as suggested. What weight and spine of arrows would you suggest please. I understand your bow test is on a heavier bow, so the arrow choice for me would be different I guess? I've not seen anything that comes close to your videos, so what about a video on arrow weights and spine Armin?

Thanks Armin as always. I’m glad that I purchased the Tartar Takedown Bow by AF Archery 2 years ago. It seemed that the extras for this bow were incorporated in that bow as opposed to the current offering. You reviewed that bow and it sounds very similar to this review except there was almost no vibration in the handle even with the light arrows. Because of the takedown handle, mine is 10 grams heavier and that obviously makes a great difference. Thanks for the update.
