The only innovation I care about is the development of bionic prostethics. I hope one day those who lost limbs, vision, hearing will be able to have the respective part replaced by a bionic part that will return usage back to normal 100%. That will be amazing. No more blindness, hearing loss, handicap, that will be wonderful

How does the APIS COR construction results stand upto extreme weather specifications ? Tornados ? Hurricanes ? Tidal Waves ? Earthquakes ? Winter Storms? That tiny round building at the end would be viable in limited locations and would be demolished in a major storm.

The helicopter tree trimming is not new technology. IT might be new to the folks that slapped this video together, but this concept goes back to the 80s. So not sure why they included 35 year old tech in a "new tech" video.

Technologies are the primary evolution of the humanity, it helps a lot to make our life easier and comfortable, however, technology can ruin our existence and that is when the time people don't need to work and everything we do is in the hand of these technology, otherwise manpower in the future would be a big possible hit

OK. The battery swapping is the future of the electric cars industry actually. For the problems of heavy battery weight, hard to exchange and hard to charge, there is a way to solve it. I have lots of experience with RC cars which usually use cells of Lion batteries. I.e., larger cars use 4 cells -6 cells of 3.7v battery pack, and smaller cars use 2-3 cells 3.7v battery pack. So the same concept can be used in the electric cars industry that the standardized battery can be formatted into a smaller, same dimension batter cell, while the quantity of cells required for a specific car depends on its weight, performance, design, and other needs. A electric 4-runner requires 4 cells, and a Chevy Spark uses only 2 cells. A Chevy Tahoe may need 6 cells for one visit to the battery station. Smaller, standardized battery cells are easy to move in and out, easy to charge, easy for cars manufacturers to design the layout, and easy to lower the cost of battery packs when the battery quality starts to degraded. When I play with RC cars, I always use 2 2-cells battery to connect for a use of 4 cells, because 4 cells batteries pack will be abandoned when one cell of it degrades, which is a terrible situation for cost of the large battery pack. So, there should be a leader in the industry, who can set the standard battery cells and design some different sized cars. A SUV, which is designed for 4 cells battery, has the pre-designed and settled

Sure, robotics will help us in amazing ways from dealing with alzheimers to receiving drone packages and driverless cars, to the development of prosthetics (thanks CTAjunior) and disabled aid and an ability to go places humans cannot go. It's an amazing world but try getting a problem fixed by email or phone when there has been an unauthorized removal of funds from your account or the over sensitized automatic car driving down a narrow road overgrown with grass which makes it break every few feet or your Visa card stops working and you cannot buy or pay for anything, you have no other money, you are many miles from home or even stuck in another country.

It is, it just needs to be bettered, electric cars is for sure the future also, with time batteries will get cheaper and way better, Tesla r also now re using over 95% of their old batteries. We just need to get rid of these oil companies, all countries in the wolrd could easly produce electricty with solar power, waterpower, wind power ETC. By 2020 all telsa supercharger will be ran by pure solar power (already achieved in Belgium), and in norway 45% oi our electricty is waterpower, there is many countries that uses only renawble energy sources to produce electricity aswell. The problem is these oil companies that wants to hold us 100 yrs back in time.

It’s so sad to see how many people view jobs as something people have to do forever , and tech is a threat , the challenge is human perception, moving from a consumer base economy to another one based on innovation and contribution... I think us not working eventually is the next step of our evolution, by work I mean , to gain money to eat and shelter .. tech should make it easier and cheaper taking away all the redundant shit we do , just imagine what life would be like , would you write ? Sing , or pursue knowledge to be hailed as a hero and great contributor, the same way wealth is displayed , intelligence and creativity would be the new wealth for a more evolved species ,, but hey we could fuck it all up and have a world with trillionaires and still starving people , it’s really up to us , we made the freaking rules
