Brill vid as always Glenn. I love every single one you make but I do have to say for me I am converted to the camping vids. I prefer these. It feels somehow like i’ve had a complete trip away when I watch you have a walk and then set up home for the night, make a meal, have a drink and waffle as the sun goes down and then wake to breakfast and a new day. The part where you mention the simulation had me… 😂. I always say the same. If the light is right in the fells they somehow look fake or painted dont they? When I show my pals my photos they think it isn’t real. The colours somehow look like its being displayed on a HD screen that we cannot see- so beautiful.! I will as always watch on Patreon too when you upload it. I have never wild camped yet. I have nobody I know that does but I desperately want to try it. Maybe sometime you could do a video for people wanting to get into it to give them ideas on what to buy or how to set a basic tent up. I have no idea where to start, how to use a jetboil, which tent to buy or how to pitch it. I’ve tried finding companies who rent gear or take you with them so Im not on my own whilst learning but not having much luck. You are so patient when you talk I think I could take pointers from you🙏 just a thought. I appreciate you are a busy man. Thanks again for another cracking Sunday evening well spent. Take care matey🤟🥾 Ange- ps, love love love that music you play at the end. It suits your vids when I hear it now I think of you driving back from a walk

Yep love these videos Glenn, especially the overnight timelapses. Interesting to see what equipment you take for a wild camp, apart from the obvious. Eg how much water & food. It’s also nice to see places that are familiar from other vids but to see them at dusk and dawn. Love HTW as a comprehensive guide to the lakes but these add an extra dimension.

So i have two tents of the brand. Have try two snug packs which are two small or two heavy one of the tent of this brand is very light one. Which I take out on day hikes use in winter to ditch in snow at less 0ne kg. It a great security blanket in case of bad weather but the other is your tent I use as main tent because only 2 kg but it as y say open two sides give cook out the wind at all times but in good weather extend the room. I find very handy in mountain weather because it has the room to dress and stand up in rain when you need the space or cook with being 4 seasons it great in storm. In dangerous weather. When you get trap on the fell you love it for weight to size of use room. It the bed of choice. But one warning use a foam mattress under the ground sheet it very thin easily I would think to be damaged on roof ground with out there extra protection ground sheat. Use foam rolll to protect it

I'd suggest a tunnel tent as a mid-point between ultralight and something like the Southern Cross; but as you seem into two entrances, the only dual entrance tunnel I can think of is the Hilleberg Helags, and I think the 2-person of that is 2.3kg-ish? And a grand. If you used walking poles, I'd suggest an Xmid, or maybe summat by Liteway if you fancied single wall.

Loved this one, what a treat🎉🎉 Plus you answered a question I had been wondering about: everyone using the collapsible beakers of a sudden, mostly orange coloured. You were the first to show that the cup actually is collapsible, as I had assumed. We had similar ones in the sixties, invented in the GDR, but they were tricky and could collapse middrink. I like my porridge "unadulterated": water, oatmeal, salt. When its nice and thick and in your bowl, cover it with brown sugar(optional) and let it swim in cold milk. Anything else I'd call hot Muesli. But that's just me.😅

Got up early today 4.30 am, it'smy birthday and the rotten dog wouldnt let me lay in so I went for a walk on the marsh behind my house and it was thick fog. So much so that the Dungeness power station looked to be floating! Rays of sun broke through and a friend was walking their dog 100 yards away and looked like a ghost walking through the beams. By 6am all fog was gone and it has been roasting all day. Your video showing the fantastic of scenery is wonderful and I love it when you camp overnight and stay in the van overnight.
