Quicksilver is the only one that is hot _and_ neutral - at the same time, IMO - and I'd be less tempted to wrap it, or grow tired of it. It also looks best with the stock Gemini wheels, and I'd be less inclined to pay thousands to swap them for after-market replacements. Thanks for the video - I didn't expect it to be as informative as it was.

Im going to get black, but get it wrapped in a matte PPF. I love matte black, but the stock colour is too shiny for me. I live in the middle east, so it doesn't rain more than once or twice a year, so it won't really get dirty at all. Additionally, the ppf should protect it from minor scratches.

White always. Safety ratings reflect it as safest color especially in poor weather and lighting conditions.

Great option as well! I prefer the quicksilver more personally, but midnight silver I need to see it up close in person. But the Tesla community loves that color.

I added the glass coating to my black MY and it’s fantastic. Great car and the downside of the black coating is solved by this.

Tesla Model Y color pallets is mostly super blah. When you compare against industry best. So for me taking whatever is 🆓 is the best choice. I would never pay $1000 for boring black or white. Especially, when Tesla had them for free during various years. And they are very common. Even the blue is blah shade of the blue. Not worth it. I would rank black & white last. That takes me to new free color Stealth Grey (looks different in different lights, much deeper than the previous Grey). I think it’s an improvement over previous grey that was offered. And it’s free. Rank 3 for me. The #2 for me is ultra red in USA. And #1 Quick Silver. But they are not worth $2k amazing either. In other makes you can get some seriously good colors for far less. In Europe, I believe Tesla offers a different darker shade of red with some depth to that color, I think it’s called midnight cherry red, which is decent color in my opinion. And even better than ultra red. But if all colors were free. I would have probably selected quick silver as #1 pick. It’s Easiest to maintain. Or midnight cherry red from Europe due to its depth, even though it’s not gonna be as easy to maintain as quick silver.

My choice is a total opposite. Silver is the most boring colour. I like mat black the most.

isn't it an advantage to have a black car; if you CAN so easily see dirt, it means you will get more motivated to clean your car. If you have a white car that hides the dirt, you may be inclined to not clean it as much and it gets neglected more.

Yeah bro, the White hides scratches more easily than black. But man, when you got dirt on it.. it definitely shows! 😂 I got a black car and I feel it requires more washing than if I had chosen a white or gray color.
