These are really cool but I'm waiting for more features I care about. If they added in a toggle for the Autopilot automatic speed setting (which is what I originally thought "Autopilot-MAX" was) and one for the minimal lane changes setting (ideally just automatically on through the commander for that one), it'd be an instant buy for me when I have the spare money for it. I like that they recently added seat adjustment and macros. I really like your guides for these and how thorough you are. Definitely going to reference back to this if I do end up getting them in the future.

Are you able to add more than the 4 included buttons to the same commander module? Or can you use the Sexy knob and Sexy buttons together?

You can do both. You can assign up to 8 buttons to one commander at the same time :)

I still have knob and S3XY buttons on order expecting delivery this month. I am just wondering, since I have a rear display installed in my 2021 M3, if the A-pillar installation isn‘t possible, since it would get pretty cramped in the middle arm console?!

You can still fit the commander at the front. Just daisy chain both gadgets and they will work together. PS: not sure where your rear display is from, but some Chinese brands have a really poor software coded that overwrites the actions of the Knob. Instead of communicating with it, it tells the car that it is a dominant unit and can affect the performance of the climate system. Lets home the unit you own is made from a good company

You get that with either the buttons or the app. If you just want the phone interface, you can also just buy the commander piece alone. Thank you.

Could you please explain the difference between S3XY Buttons and S3XY Knob besides interface and do I need both, and why I would need both? Kind of confused about which product to start with. In all honesty, I would prefer not to have extra buttons, but I am unsure if one works well without the other.

I bought both because I wanted to give passengers also some control. So buttons reachable from backside and the knob can only be placed in the front

No, it needs Bluetooth to be connected. The Bluetooth module turns off as soon as you leave the car. Thanks.

I put this in an older video, and repeating here just in case it’s easier to find. Just installed my brand new S3XY knob and commander -- love it; but there’s one HUGE issue. Using the dash screen on my phone, the left and right turn signals are green and don’t flip red when the Tesla main screen indicates red for a car in the blind spot! I could have easily caused a wreck. I used the front installation for the connector. This is a huge safety issue. Did I do something wrong?!

That feature is not yet supported on the S3XY commander. They said they are working on the blind spot color change and should have an OTA out soon. Thanks.

Two questions / feature requests. (Both concerning the phone app.) 1. Does the turn signal change colors when there's a car in blind spot? 2. Does it show the nag??? And Bonus Points... could they make it show blindspot warning when turn signal is not actually on? Obviously, I'm requesting features to help me NOT purchase Teslogic so I don't have to choose between the two.

I have ver 1 buttons in a 2018 M3. The phone app does not change color for blindspot and it does not have the nag. Those are great feature requests.

The biggest problem with these buttons is that they are not backlit and the icon has poor contrast so you can't even see it in the dark. They icon stickers are flat, so you can't feel the icon with your fingers and know what the button does. Don't buy this, wait for Gen 3.
