Just got the S3XY knob also. You should have used the front connector as the space at the back is too tight. A bit more work but it’ll be worth it as you get more options also with this connector. Anyway I wanted to ask: Do you have a link for the seat covers the look real nice. Cheers.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be looking into the front connector for sure due to needing to re-connect the rear entertainment display. Just haven't had the time to strip the front trim out yet 😅. Checked Aliexpress store where I bought the Model Y seat covers but not sold any more. Do a search on AliExpress and quite a few come up for sale, I've seen some which look great. Haven’t had a chance to watch the entire video, only the installation part, but was wondering what happens with your rear monitor display? Are you no longer able to install in concurrently? Thanks for the vid by the way!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to watch the installation part! I've reconnected the rear entertainment display as it also controls the rear fan and heating so needs to be put back. I'll be installing the S3XY Knob wiring in the front pillar OBD port as Knob ships with both wiring options. Both Knob and display connectors cannot fit in the rear OBD as very limited space. Stay tuned as I'll be doing a front pillar install for those wishing to connect this way! 👍

I just fitted mine today. I'm a bit miffed that the temperature doesn't change on the Tesla screen when you change it on the knob. The release notes for the firmware update says "HVAC - status is synchronised with Main display" but it isn't. I'd rather not have to look down at the knob to see what I've changed the temperature to.

They've recently made a workaround that uses your phone to relay the information to the tesla.

Just so you know you can connected both in series so both the commander and the screen will work

Yep, sure does fit both...you can still put you hand into centre consol to get items....if it's further back towards the charging dock area just push the SX3Y Knob forward grab what you want then put everything back....easy peasy👍

Thank you for noticing! I purchase all my accessories from Hansshow. Thinking about it, I've now put a link in the description for this particular steering wheel (which is customized and heated) but their choice of wheels will amaze you.
