I do thank you for the video. Though I wish you would had impressed on the Client protection, Sanitation, and Sterilization with the wrapping of the cape. Just as a true full example. You did a great free hand at the nape. You can see what you like to teach. We need more people who want to help the new students to get higher than a 70 on their state board. Being an instructor takes passion and Sir you have it. You have a softer tone and patients to show your skills. We all have our own way of styles of cutting and students you will find as we learn. You must learn the basics to pass the test. He is being correct in his teachings. I am a seasoned barber. I never had all the electric items to do hair cuts. I only had 1 Andis Master clipper with a few attachments my shears, blending shears and two different combs 1regular numbered and 1tapered and the straight edge. I see a huge change in the way we cut hair, let this be known; all cuts come back even if their name changes. The fades are nothing more than old school 0 /3 cuts like those in the military. 3 being the longest possible at the crown or apex area. and tapers down to a 0 or zero cut. We sure need more barbers who want to learn the old school cuts. I did a taper fade on a young teen and his grampa saw him when he returned to pick him up. His mouth blurted out " Oh man look at him, his hair is so fly and tight like back from the 70's era "Soul Train" days of his time. His grandson had a big smile and liked seeing his pop happy. I did pick it out and freestyle cut it with shears and freehand clippers. The next stage of my education is to take my state board test for my "Barber Instructor" I will start making my own videos to enhance the world of Barbering. Good Luck to all of you

@@tre8ight495 That shit was easy. For example let’s say an instructor stands next to you as he watches you taper the neck with NO GUARD. (Freehand) , just make it look as blended as you can & clean w proper strokes & bam you’re in there. Now as for the shears…Be precise when cutting the manikins hair on top. They’ll go over it to see if it’s even. I passed & I thought i failed it bc of discouraged i was when doing the curl iron. Hope this helps

My first product is a barber cape with a viewing window. I wanted to see if I could send you a free cape? Seeing that you are very much of an expert on the field, I would love to see what you think! Let me know if you would be interested. Keep up the great work! Michael J.

mrcheap Thank you for visiting my channel. I’m actually familiar with a couple of capes with viewing windows from a couple of different brands. I’m personally not a fan of the concept because I don’t want my customers looking down at their phone while I’m cutting their hair. So it depends on what you desire for me to do in response to receiving the cape from you.
