So this is a bit tricky, I know that it should be consistent amongst all raters but based off of the alumni’s I’ve spoken too it’s based on the rater. My suggestion would be take a loaded razor holder and one that isn’t loaded. Practice with both and when it’s time to take your test you may ask the rater. But go in prepared to perform the service with the razor.

How many towels do you need for this service?

It’s depends. My recommendation would be to practice and count how many towels you average for me I packed 8-10 towels. Count how many you use for draping, then the amount you use for the technical service, and how many you will need to clean. Everyone is different.

@@AdanBarber84 if you follow the procedure and safety criteria on the candidate information bulletin you can more or less calculate the amount of towels you need. You need 3 towels to drape, 2 hot towels to prep the face, one more hot towel to clean shave cream from the face, a cold towel and a towel to clean. But depending on your model you may need another one if the hair is really coarse. This is why I recommend to practice the procedure so you know how many towels you normally go thru to complete a shave.

You use a tripod… fold the towel the long ways and secure with a t-pin,then follow with drape the towel once more. Use the t pin to secure it again.
