its a bit more manageable to deal with bots, but its still a major issue and a major embarrassment that valve cannot figure out how to fix their game. I'd say better than nothing, but still a pathetic attempt @ fixing the situation.

Here's an idea for an improvement, besides the bots. Maybe not being able to vote for the same map you did last match (Some maps are barely played, so this would help), putting something in Capture the Flag (Yes, I play that mode seriously) to encourage more progress from the players, and how about actually improving the training mode. But honestly, they should focus more on the bots than anything else until they actually get rid of the bots. Maybe change the cheating system.

I bet a lot of other companies would easily fix that kind of problem, and I'm surprised a few people started to tell me it would be a bad idea for Valve to hand TF2 to another company. Thankfully, that was until I brought up how there were (and probably still are) people that want Sonic to be given to another company that's not Sega (two of those reasons being the movie and Rise of Lyric).

If valve can continue to make updates to nerf even more the bots, the more advantage we have on them and more tired the bot hosters will be tired of hosting bots.

@@GUGAMINECRAFT yea it gonna be almost impossible to in one update get rid of bots. The best thing is to just hold on while value slowly nerfs the bots into the abyss they came from. In my play time I haven't seen many bots. I've probably seen around 20 since the update and it's nice. I started playing January 1st of this year so I don't know what it's really like to not have to deal with the bots. We got the upper hand for now but we need to give valve the time to figure out how to fix this epidemic.

It lasted for only a day, I played a few match’s the day of, there was only one bot but it instantly got kicked. Now the usual bots like omegatronic and braaap are back and it didn’t do anything

Yeah, I know that the small dev team is trying, but cmon' Valve has had a lot of time to fix it. I wish the game was just fixed. All I ask of this game.

I just came from a game on Kong King. The bots are still here. And they are SO MUCH WORSE. In my game, BOTH teams had less than 4 actual humans on them, and the bots called votes on the real players and got them INSTABANNED because they all vote yes on humans, and no on other bots. And to make things worse, since Valve made it so there's a vote cool down when you FIRST JOIN THE GAME NO MATTER WHAT, I couldn't even kick any of them till the 2nd round (I joined in the 1st), and even then, the bot I voted to kick, 1. didn't leave so it didn't get banned for leaving during its vote off, and 2. EVERY BOT VOTED NO SO FAST, I DON'T EVEN THINK THE HUMANS HAD A CHANCE TO VOTE. You what else? All of the bots in the chat were spamming "SO MUCH FOR THE ANTI-CHEAT UPDATE!" Valve tried as hard they could, and by that, I mean I've seen whiney little 5-year old kids do chores with more effort than they did with this update.

I played today, I play casual 2Fort just to see if it worked and it did! There was no bots. The day before that there was so many bots and everybody who was a actual player left. Today was different, no bots and I was pretty happy.

The people that are the ones harassing others about upgrades are the ones that should be vote-kicked. Also, are those people not aware that you can refund upgrades? As for the bots, I hope they're gone before it's too late. I saw TF2 have a bit of decline as one of the most played, and I'm worried the bots could be the reason for it.

mvm players got fucked. now we can't see new players upgrades to know when they're using upgrades that make them deal less damage because they're broken, upgrades that do nothing because they're broken, or just stuff they shouldn't have. it made it a lot harder to help new players not be bad at mvm.

So you know that one line in the update that says: "> Kick votes will end early and automatically pass if the vote target leaves the match during the vote" Yeah that's all we needed in order to end the bots crisis since if you get voted off too many servers too many times you get permabanned from casual no matter what gamemode you're playing at the time of the ban. Also, those kicks aren't kicks, they're temp bans for that specific server, it's been like this since Blue Moon lmao
