Yes, they give free rides/ samples/ food depending on what they vend in the hopes you’ll buy their product. That’s how any convention works. My dad used to be a buyer for a company and went to conventions all the time. Brought back tons of free stuff! It was great. Especially when he would let me tag along on his business trips, and we’d make a vacation out of it.

My biggest issue with the Sally Corp Walking Dead ride is the fact that the animatronic blinks. Walkers doing blink and while not a huge issue, it makes me wonder how much of the other "lore" of walkers they didn't get right. I also really hope it doesn't come to Universal. Based on what was described in an interview I watched, it sounds like MIB but with screens and a few physical set pieces.

Fun fact: the company "Mack" or "Mack Rides" you showed in the video has its own Theme Park in Germany, one of the biggest in Europe. The park is called "Europapark" which means "Park of Europe". Nearly every country of Europe has a own zone with food, rollercoasters and other rides. So it's a little bit like Epcot but bigger and with more thrillibg rides. If you ever come to Germany I would highly recommend this Theme Park.

Hey Tim, I just got back from Disneyland a few days ago, and your comment about the light cube reminded me- I found a great spot to wait for the parade if you're going to see Paint the Night at Disneyland. There's an upper area right next to it's a small world with a railing. If you get there around an hour before the parade is set to start, you have a pretty unobstructed view of the entire parade from a few feet off the ground. It's nice because just a little ways back there are areas you can sit in until the crowd fills up. There are also food vendors in the general area you can snack off of. MUCH less hectic than watching the parade from Main Street. Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up!

Damn this looks like so much fun. I miss Orlando. I went to the DIsney College Program Fall 1998 and worked for Country Bear Jamboree and parts of Splash Mountain and talk about so much fun. Ive been a few times back since but being an overnight drive, or 14-16 hours if I have someone take driving shifts with me, its just too far. When I was out there one year, I forget which time, they had this Disney Bus driver who liked playing Disney Trivia and he said does anyone know where Walt Disney World was originally planned to be built? And being silly I said My Back Yard. He said oh yeah? Where are you from? I said Lafayette Louisiana. He said surprisingly your pretty much right. He didnt specify where but he said South Louisiana was Disney's original site to build Walt Disney World but stupid ass Louisiana politicians refused Disney a 10$ million tax break for one year so he went to Florida which was his second choice. Talk about sucks too. We get WAY Less Hurricanes that Florida and we have Festival International De Louisianne which has been voted number 1 world festival in the world. Schlitterbahn, or rather the people who designed it was suppose to design a water park about 20 miles from Lafayette heading West in the Rayne/Crowley area but apparently that fell through after we had like 3 or 4 big storms hit in just a few years. I wish they would repoen Six Flags Jazz Land but its a Ghost Town now. I had never went to Jazz Land before SIx Flags took over and never had a chance to go to it as Six Flags either. Then Katina hit on my birthday August 29 2005. Iwas suppose to attend a Rob Zombie Show at House of Blues that night but because of that damn storm it was canceled. And then when I called Ticketmaster to get a refund they refused to refund me the 7$ service fees. I complained to them until they refunded it. I said thats fucked up man. House of Blues probably has room for about 750 - 1000 people Im guessing and you want to keep 7$ for a show that was canceled because of an act of Nature. Thats like up to 7000 bucks you get for nothing, oh wait you answered phone calls and what not. I never even received a ticket because it was will call. Well in Oct of 2013 Mad Monster Horror Convention came to New Orleans and I met this artist who does concert posters. Not those mass produced ones but those special edition posters. And he just so happened to have 2 versions of the Rob Zombie poster. One with the date and time and venue and one just art. I bought both of them. They are bad ass. Also got to meet Rowdy Roddy Piper there. That was one cool dude and was my favorite wrestler throughout the 80s and 90s both when he was a bad guy and a good guy. My buddy Peter Simeti turned one of his comics , The Chair, into a movie and Piper was in it then passed away a couple months after filming. In June 2015 there was one of those fucking Internet Celebrity Death Hoaxes going around that Piper died. I was so happy to find out it was not true. Then in early August someone told me died and I said nah that was a hoax. But they swore he was dead. SO I went home to find out and sure enough, July 31 2015 he passed away from a heart attack. RIP Piper. ANywho AWESOME VIDEO. I hope to get to attend this one year.

I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for sharing. It's something different from the usual pro interview and it shows some of the smaller booths... Neat.
