It's incredible that David Mitton created concept art in such detail for sets that either weren't going to be made for years yet or would never end up being built at all. Even right down to mentioning what materials different portions of the set would be made from, which parts would be intentionally collapsible or cardboard cutout etc. The man was a true creative genius.

Imagine. In the UK if Michael Angelis left the UK dub would have Pierce Brosnan and for the U.S Dub they would have Tom Hanks.

Yes but it was the first model to be in that gauge, the one from jack in the pack and then they made more of them but only 3 where made

These pictures were waaaaaaay back then, so at that time Mattel still didn’t own Thomas yet. And I think these pictures were idea on how it was should’ve been seen but with David Mitton’s work the original ideas were left behind.
