Its nice to see a talking engine which looks more normal without designs on the side. That rolling stock is super disappointing though especially since theres nothing under the tarp. I wish they released Annie and Clarabel with this instead

I agree. It is nice to see classic looking engines but the rolling stock and cargo could have been a lot better. All in all a mixed bag.

There actually is a talking thomas with Annie and Clarabel in AEG, it was the first AEG talking thomas they made lol

@TF47 I much prefer the classic looking engines so it's definitely great to see this! Yeah, the rolling stock is a shame - I think I'd like it more if it wasn't so overdone, then again I didn't like it from the start I just don't like it more nowadays because of how overdone it is

The talking thomas from the cranky delivery set is basically the same as this but no cargo, its worth more too, 20 dollars for the engine, 25 for the set, thats 45 total.

Tf47 to tell you the truth I don't know if I mentioned this or not but I have no problem with owning both talking Thomas's which I do just like you but it's exactly the same and I often sometimes get confused on which one is which the only one tell the difference to me is the wagons you get what's with the other Thomas. While with the first one, you got Annie and clarabel. I would normally count the faces to be different, but to me, they're almost exactly the same. To me, if you got a talking James or salty instead to me, that would be sweet. ( Do you hate it when Mattel copies the same pack, or is it just me???) And something I also need to mention with Thomas I feel like Mattel was just getting lazy with him and if you pay attention to the couplers of the talking engines wagons they don't have the long couplers with the stars on it. So I feel like the new talking engines in the future won't have the long couplers I'm not saying if it's a big deal or anything but the previous one with those I think you're pretty cool.

The speaker on thomas seems to be faulty, the others sont seem to have issues, also this must have happened with thomas getting a new voice actor which shows they are putting some more effort into their toys even as far as making a whole new thomas just to show a new actor

The cargo talking Thomas shares almost ALL same the phrases that came with the talking Thomas and cranky set. And that kinda ticks me off.
