If it is true, for 2k for lot rent is outrageous! Go see Incredible Tiny Homes in Newport, TN. Their lot rents are $200 to $300. They are also looking into small houses. I suggest you dont buy from Greedy people who are charging way too much.

I am in Florida and was immediately interested to see the community but I could not find the location other than Marianna, Florida, there are no pictures of the community other than a map. I also saw some rentals which appear to be at a different location but I am not sure. There is no orientation or explanation as to what those are and their relation to the Marianna community; very confusing. I was also taken back by the monthly rental price of over $2000, some were $2,500 and $2,600 to rent. I suggest they work on their website to help people see what they are offering before placing a call. At least for me, I like to look first or drive around to see if I like the area before calling and making a commitment because I am actively looking and have visited three communities, one in Orlando, in Okeechobee and in Tampa.

Tiny does not mean inexpensive or low payments. I like the creativity of design style and living space solutions in the tiny community. Where possible I incorporate those ideas into my 864 sq. ft. prairie ranch house originally built in 1945 (with an attached 624 sq. ft. garage/shop that was added in 1987). I live in a rural community and I can pretty much do what I want to my house with few requirements for permits or inspections. There are some newer tiny homes in my city, directly behind my property a 320 sq. ft. home was recently built out of a farm shed moved from another property. What I have noticed about my neighbor's tiny build, and in videos from various tiny communities: he has added a couple of storage sheds to hold more of his stuff. What I suspect is that tiny homes just are just too small, and what more people would find comfortable and practical for long term living are probably in the 500 to 700 sq. ft. range - so that they don't have to add more storage sheds. The whole idea of going tiny was affordable living. But what I'm seeing the prices are as much as buying a regular house. Now people are back to square one.

Incredible Tiny Homes in Tennessee have homes from $20,000 to $149,000. The good is that they too can build the home in 6-8weeks but the not so good is it takes months for them to start building it. Once you pay for it, you get on the build list. They are building my tiny Woody now and I ordered it in Sept.

Just looked up the company. Very cool. Love it. I hope they look into buying in West Virginia. I want some land for a greenhouse, Catio and a tiny home but I don't want to be too far from people but also more land than what most tiny homes communities have. In Sweden, they have a huge tiny home colony's and they are amazing. Especially, in Ulriksdal where theres a flower and tree shop connected.

The other option is looking into RV parks or seeing if there are other tiny home communities nearby.
