Being a watch enthusiast my wife always see my straps and she said she would like to have a watch on a nato strap. I've searched a lot of women's watches and I think this would work well on a nato strap. This might be the one for her as it offers great value with a sport/ dressy look.

Very nice bracelet, sapphire crystal and a high-accuracy quartz Precidrive movement. It's even cheaper than other Swatch Group offerings with this same movement, like from Certina. Tissot has a winner.

I am a man, but I got the white dial 36mm unisex one, and I think it looks wonderful. I like to think that the white color represents "purity" like how the sheriffs in the old western moves that always wore a white hat. What I really like about the watch are the bracelets, how light it is, and the apparent quality of the bezel. I still prefer my automatic Seiko watches, but this one is very close in spite of being a regular quartz.

I like that Tissot offer quartz options. Quartz goes pretty well with beaters and no-nonsense watches overall.

I bought this watch in the store some days ago. i have a slim wrist so it is difficult to find a fitting dive watch. i loved this one on first sight. very stunning blue and nice reflections in the dial and bezel also on the bracelet make this watch appeal much more expensive than it actually is. I payed 415€ in a German Store

The women’s PR100 has the powermatic 80 in a 33mm case, so no reason they can’t do an auto version. And love the Vaer line!

Woah! The automatic is going to be a definite purchase for me. I like the polished centre link and I'll be praying for a two-tone with the bracelet too, not just the bezel and crown. Along with the 35mm PRX, Tissot are killing it for the slender wrist in 2022!

@@Alphazone. With quartz I'd have to open the watch to change the battery, which compromises water resistance. That's why I prefer auto, solar quartz, and kinetic movements

@@Alphazone. Depends on the person. Quartz is better when it comes to keeping time. Far more accurate. Batteries do need to be switched of course, which is a hell lot cheaper than bringing in an automatic watch for repair when the accuracy gets worse. Truly depends on what your view on watches is and the budget you're looking for. Some see it as a status symbol and want to flex, some collect watches, some are very interested in the inner workings of a watch, and some just want to read the time and get on with their day. There is a watch for every purpose and you got to buy what makes you feel good, whether it's quartz or an automatic. Not everyone needs an expensive watch.

Beautiful watch, I just wish that the lollipop on the second hand was a tad lower and does not eclipse the hour marks like that. But with that being said, I'm still gonna get it, exactly what I've been looking for in terms of size, aesthetic, and price point. Thanks for the review. Update: got it, and love it. Nice weight, quality build, not as flashy as I thought it would be and that's a good thing. The 2 negatives for me are the clasp end protrudes out a bit too much, and the bracelet edge is sharp that it actually cut my wrist, but I can prolly grind it down a lil bit, I dont see it as a big problem. Overall, recommended to whoever is thinking of getting one.

I tried one on at an AD and it felt really small that said when I can wear a 36mm Citizen eagle 7 or a 34mm swatch this thing would fit in perfectly I'm finding that 40mm is about as big I want to guy when I tried on the larger seastar it felt like a dinner plate on my wrist. I can see why the industry is going towards smaller watches at this point and I support it.

Gotta say the Seastar and the Longines entry level diver were very cheap looking and over polished but this 36 brings the details in and makes it look less....tinselly The bezel is sapphire and brings the over shinyness down too. As a seven inch wrist for the first time im tempted by the Tissot.

Bezel is mineral glass. Says so in the specifications on the Tissot website. Mineral will scratch. It’s unfortunate they didn’t either use a sapphire inlay or ceramic insert like the larger Seastar 1000 models.

I want to like the company, but they can't seem to get watch sizing right. 38mm to 40mm seems to be elusive to them. *Update March 2023: They now have this in 40mm and only 10mm thick.

i'm surprised you didn't mention the quartz is actually pretty special it is thermocompensated for like up to only 10 seconds off a YEAR! and they have something built into the movement called heavy drive to deal with shocks. for Grand seiko quartz to get the same specs their watches are aroud $3000 for the same movement specs. look up the movement Eta F05.412 and the specs and tolerance it has.

Glycine Combat Sub 36 automatic (SW 200-1) can be had around $375. Bracelet sucks because it's a butterfly clasp but it's amazing for the price. Also 30 ATM, sapphire crystal. Amazing. Not sure the Tissot can hold up to it.

I think your getting a lot for your money here . I have a 1965 gold tissot seastar dress watch which just oozes quality . Excellent model combining quartz accuracy and the lume of Diver's model besides being cute in size, most wanted 36m.m , suitable for small wrists of men, and women. Had it been available in 2000 I would not have bought gentleman classic which disappointed me in lume effect at a price of Rs 27500, now 29 k to 31 k. It is a steal and I would suggest to grab it before the price is revised upwards.

i have this on my 20cm wrist...fits with room to spear for tightening ...so glad its not automatic..i have 9 automatics from swiss to japan versions..everytime they come back from servicing there scratched up on the dail and hands..and hands dont line up like from new...no problem with quartz versions..just battery and seals..cheap...automatics not cheap not accurate break easy and hard to find someone to fix or service..quartz you can do it yourself

Yeah, It was too big before, and it is too small now. Mass market size would be a 39-40mm case size with an end to end lug length of 47.5 or less.

I've been looking at this watch for myself in quartz, You are Correct, the movement is an ETA movement. I would like to see a Powematic 80 version though. Due to having a small wrist, the 36mm version fits me better than the 43mm version. I like the blue, but am kind of drawn to the White bezel version, just for something different, Could also combine with bright colored rubber straps would make fro killer summer watches

“too big a watch”, not “too big OF a watch”. That means nothing at all on this side of the Atlantic. Nevertheless, a very decent and comprehensive review, thanks, with plenty of steady views of the watch from all angles. The watch has a lovely clear dial and bezel, a great colour scheme and a decent bracelet. Even my wife likes it, so I’ll get her one tomorrow for her birthday.
