I went for the 36mm white quartz version with my toothpick wrist as it’s thinner, reliable, more versatile than my automatic divers (skx013, ds action 38 for eg). Pictures and vids doesn’t make justice, it’s stunning, with yacht master vibes. Plus the most comfy watch I've ever had ;)

I've bought the turquoise Seastar 2000 almost two years ago. It's a nice watch. And while I'm not the biggest guy with the largest hands, personally I think the 46mm's of it is quite bearable, and looks good too!

Great input - thank you! Yep, this a very good example on why not to judge a watch by it size based on the milimeter. Sometimes the best is to try it on and see how it looks on YOUR writsize.

@@lra7307 What paint? It's stainless steele and sapphire on the outside plus the ceramic. Looks like new after about 2yrs of carrying it every day.

I got Seastar 1000 Powermatic two days ago for 551 Dollars and it's awesome, although I didn't get green one but with this price I can easily buy some new Seiko with less water resistant level so this is totally no-brainer for me

The Seastar 2000’s are the best watches in the world in its price range. Nice big manly 46mm dial makes smaller ones look like cheap toys in comparison. I might have to buy them all ?

amazing video! the seastar 1000 and 2000 today offer so many premium features for under 1000 euros! ceramic bezel, engraving numbers, 300m, screw down crown, bottled dome sapphire crystal, open case in the back, and pm 80, also the dial is excellent!

I have a preference for automatic movements, but the Tissot Seastar Professional would totally overwhelm my small wrist. Tissot, how about producing a non-Pro version, using the Powermatic 80 with case diameter around 39-40mm, as well as a b it thinner. Since most people are wearing diver watches for the style but would never wear their watch in a lake or ocean, a version without the Pro features would be welcome.

Hello Paradeep, when we compare the technical features we notice there is no big difference between these two watches. Only the style is different: While Rado goes for a more vintage look, the Tissot Seastar is more modern. Personally i feel like the Tissot is more adaptable to any style since its design is more neutral compared to the Rado Captain Hook. There are many watches with gold colour however for me none of them looks as elegant as seastar. When I view my watch, I feel like i am wearing a golden bracelet. I actually hate golden bracelets on man But this one looks different

I bought a Seastar Professional 2000 aqua color, but after a thorough day by day inspection of the watch, I noticed it's losing 3 to five seconds only in 12 hours. Is this normal? Is there a + / - adjustment in the motor? Will it cancel my warranty if an unauthorized watch repair/adjustment is done? Please advise.

Basically your timepiece has a difference of around 6 - 10 seconds per day which in this case is within the tolerenace. Tissot states on their website following: The majority of mechanical watches (excluding certified chronometers) have average precision tolerances of between -10/+30 seconds per day.

I bought the black one , like the watch but the quality is a bit to be desired, had it since Xmas and the rotor spins when you wind it and it vibrates. when i looked it up its a known problem on these watches.

Hello Rocket 🚀 Yes indeed, full ruberstrap would for sure be the ideal solution. Would avoid leather espacially when it comes to salt water. In general, leather is more sensetive to sweat, water and any liquids.

Hello Sanjay, did you choose your watch? :) Personally i think that the black/gold dial is more subtle, timeless and does not follow any trends. Therefore, this is a combination you will like even in 20 years from now. I was considering to buy a previously launched version of a sea star but 43 mm is far too small for me but 45 mm has sundials which are useless in my opinion. Where to buy it? Haven’t seen it in 🇬🇧 high street shops yet. And how much does it cost? Your channel is very impressive l must admit. I decided to subscribe.

I bought the tissot seastar 2000, The bezel what not very tight, and the more i spun it the looser it got. This watch some great features, but also some real cheap ones. Waste of money :(
