This was a standout for me. I find indie scents go too far, this is just right for me. I won't support the pricing though so I will appreciate at the counter only :D

I never understood Tom Ford tiers. Fragrances moving up into Private or dropping down to signature. I walk by the counter and there's 50+ bottles and I'm overwhelmed. But that's just me! 🤷‍♂

Haha.. yeah, they are up there with Guerlain in terms of moving things around all the time. There's also "Reserve Collection" and "Parfums" within the Private Blend 😅

This wasn’t for me. Estée Lauder has been taking the PB line in a weird direction. Some combination of mass appeal with odd ingredient combinations. They are speed running mall-to-outlet fragrances!

What Lubin is that? you should do a review on Akkad and Korrigan, those are masterpieces imo edit: now i heard you say Idole de Lubin, i made this comment before i started watching the video lol

Lol.. Yes, Idole de Lubin is a gem from the old days of Fragcomm. I also like Akkad and Korrigan. Hope to cover them in the future. Lubin itself is a very underrated house.

I've only seen Bois Marocaine, some of the rose one's, the myrrh one, and some of the white bottled ones at the cosmetic store so far. For Frederic malle I seen synthetic jungle and geranium. It would be great to find one of the Malle ouds there!

This strongly reminded me of Donna Karan Black Cashmere, one of my most loved fragrances. Imagine this profile was to be found in the designer isle in the past and now you have to pay so much.

I really love the 100 ml bottle design. I’m curious if Tom Ford has made any improvements to the sprayer. It feels like they’re finally back in the game, which is nice to see.

They have stopped 100ml for some of the fragrances... wonder why as it's the standard size. So far, this is only in 30/50/250ml. Yes! I forgot to mention it... the sprayer is better in this, feels more pressurized. I do hope, TF don't fall back to their regular schtick after this...

@@ScentZatura An obvious reason is that the 30 ml and 50 ml bottles probably (or definitely) bring in more profit. Plus not many people will buy 250 flacon anyway. Unfortunately, in this case, I’d go for the 100 ml Black Lacquer since the all-black design is just too good to pass up.

Yes, that's definitely a good point. They don't even supply 100ml to some outlets it seems. It will be interesting to see whether they'll do 100ml of Black Lacquer in the future..
