My opinion echoes yours exactly - I could care less what's "masculine" or "feminine." I wear Black Orchid EDT on occasion because I just love how it smells! Even the EDT has insane silliage and longevity. Gotten many compliments, and you can almost guarantee you won't smell like any other man around...if you can pull it off, it's a fun one to wear

My ex bought me BO for Christmas two years ago. For me personally, it's far too feminine for my liking. Not that that's a bad thing whatsoever, but I think it's very important for men to know EXACTLY what they are getting with this fragrance. Bold, rich, sweet, heavy, long-lasting, and feminine. If I could put a face on the fragrance of Black Orchid, it would be Russel Brand. Does that make sense?

This is 100% true. I used to be a perfumers intern for Estée Lauder (they make tom Ford fragrances). The perfumers are given a budget and a task to make scents; there’s no specific requirements to make it for MEN NOR WOMEN. They are given the creative liberty to do as they please. Once they are done, they would give it to the “boards” which consist of Estée Lauder’s head of beauty, other perfumers, director, Tom ford himself, etc... they then VOTE if it should be “masculine”, unisex or “feminine”. Once they figure that out, they push it out to the marketing team for name, bottle design, colors, etc...

So I got a sampler of this. I was unsure about a "unisex" fragrance, as I've had bad experiences in the past. I tend to wear BdC EdP, Sauvage, AdG Essenza, MMM Jazz Club, etc. Pretty "manly" scents. This stuff though, is magic. The other offers are scents, this is an "aura." It's very potent but so warm and inviting. I can't stop smelling myself while I'm wearing it. One spray to the chest before getting dressed and then dab both wrists. It's intoxicating. I'm buying a bottle next week, I need this permanently in my life

It's really very good. Both are great but the Parfum is still very lively on the dry down. Lasts longer.

The level of sophistication has been amped up and for me, the fact that it doesn’t SHOUT you are entering the building is a GOOD thing! Hello, I recently bought black orchid edp, and have a feeling like there's smth wrong. Cause I've heard a lot of reviews saying it's super long lasting fragrance and etc. but after I spray it I can barely smell anything in 1 hour. I love the smell but just a bit upset with the performance. What is your opinion? (Btw have no doubts on the originality, bought for full price from Bloomingdale's, specially to avoid fakes) and I spray good 4-5 times in different parts of a body, to be clear

To me it smells like sex, seduction ...perfection love it. Just I love it, I agree with everything you say about it.
