Top 5: Tobacco Vanille, Noir de Noir, Amber Absolute, F*cking Fabulous, and 3-way tie Tobacco Oud Intense, Plum Japonais, and Oud Wood - Love Lost Cherry it made my Top 10 private blends and I have almost all of them. Few older ones I am missing like Japan Noir.

GQ's Own I can co-sign this list but oud wood hasn’t grown on me yet, I need to wear it more. Til it does I’ll sub out Oud wood for Oud Fleur. I love Tuscan leather but Idk know where it fits so it could be a tie wit Tobacco oud. Some say Tobacco Oud and Amber absolute smell similar.....but I see Tobacco Oud as more wearable. Amber Absolute is purely amazing. Great list.

Great video max Forti , I try this fragrance on Thursday at Tom Ford store and wow it is big blast cherry fragrance and it smell real good and I might have to buy a bottle for $325. The bottle is real beautiful.

I want to try Lost Cherry. Great review! My favorites from Tom Ford, Oud Wood, Italian Cypress and Tobacco Vanille. I also like Noir de Noir and Plum Japonois. You should do a review of Italian Cypress, its a very underappreciated scent. One of my best discoveries of 2018. Looking forward to you doing an update of your Good Bad and the Ugly video. For Tom Ford's next fragrance release, XXX would be a great name.

Got to try this yesterday. The opening and first hour on skin is FANtastic. It immediately reminded me of those dark maraschino cherries they put on the top of black forest cakes. The liquer vibe is just amazing. Most unfortunately, I barely got 4 hours...but on fabric, the drydown is even better (no cherry though) and lasts much longer. Was smelling it on my shirt this morning and it's intoxicating. Side-by-side with Grand Soir and I actually prefer Lost Cherry. A quick note, the SA told me that Tom Ford doesn't actually discontinue fragrances - according to her, they just withhold them until the demand increases and re-release it. Pretty sly...

Brought the bottle today from Bloomingdale’s since Neimans and Saks fifth were sold out. Not to mention I brought 12 ML‘s of decants(with have yet to come in) before I brought the bottle which was extremely pricey outside of the high price of the bottle. This fragrance is outstanding and if you buy Clive Christian or other expensive perfumes the price isn’t that bad for something unique.

Top 3 Tom Ford: Amber Absolute Noir de Noir Italian Cypress (reminds me of something my father would wear but more refined of course) I liked Lost Cherry. I thought the Cherry was strong like Pure Havane but a tad more tart than the TM scent. Also reminded me of the cherries on ice cream sundaes. The sweetness of the fragrance all together is something I think a woman would want to bite your neck when smelling.

Just purchased my bottle yesterday at Nordstrom. They had to order it from another location because it's in limited supply. I should have it within a week however, in the meantime, they made me a few samples of it for me to wear. My opinion of the scent is; it smells amazing. You really do smell the Cherry scent first, then I smell the almond note. It reminds me of cherry pie on first spritz. Once it dry down, it leaves a pleasant scent that smells great. If you're on the fence about the price, if possible, spray it in your skin and walk around for 30 minutes. Hopefully this will help with your decision making process. Good luck everyone!

Great review Max! I was waiting to finally hear your take on this new release. I can't wait to get a decant when it's for sale on Reddit and places like that. Who knows, I may like it so much that I would buy a bottle. But I'm glad another male reviewer appreciates this fragrance which makes it that much more confident that I can wear this! I really like the new time lapse opening of New York at the beginning of this video! Well done! Diggin the matching outfit too! As far as the juice is concerned, unfortunately I will never smell it. I just cannot justify paying that much for scented water. I'm just a cheapie guy! LOL Great vid man! One more thing, I have a blend for you! I just blended one spray of Spicebomb (well a really good clone) with 2 sprays of John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider on the back of my hand, ya GOTTA try this one Max! This fragrance smells like Jergen's and Bath and Body Cherry Blossom. I like it. The jasmine in this is on point. Tom Ford's use of Jasmine in his fragrances is impressive. It's use is 2nd to Japon Noir imo. Overall LC is decant worthy in my opinion.

You are my favourite reviewer on youtube. i believe the perfume is good. i dont like tom ford scents. reminds me of funerals and old lady perfumes except maybe grey vetiver…... With this Money, I bought Sartorial by penhaligons , encre noir al extreme, rassasi daeerg, zino davidoff, ted lapidus pour homme, roma laura biaggioti,ferrari noble fig, serge lutens chergui and wonderwood from comme des garçon……. just to put things in perspective…..total spent; 324 euros.

When it comes to make up, Tom Ford is a bit controversial when taking about quality, and is not the case with (90%) of his fragrances. Nonetheless, the quality of Private Blend is worth the money. If I were to make a top list from those I’ve been able to try, it’d be: 1. Oud Minérale 2. Tobacco Vanille 3. Santal Blush 4. Fucking Fabulous 5. Tuscan Leather/White Suede. PS. Great video! It is so hard to find good fragrance reviewers on YT! I totally subscribed!

I went to buy vert des bois and bloomingdales said they no longer have it available so I bought d ensence instead and I asked why they dont have it and she said they were pulling the green off the shelves and it was gonna happen within a year. I blinbought it. It love it. It's similar to PDM Oajan for me. The difference is the cherry vibe in the start (oajan has applepie start and longlasting), but after that lots of notes are similar. I have Tobacco Vanille, Tobacco Oud, Mandarino di amalfi and now Lost Cherry from the privat blend collection. I would to get another summer type , mediterranean fragrance from TF so I will have a fav 5... I think about Neroli Portofino, or Sole di Positano. Could you recommend one of these? or should I try italan cypress or azure lime, rive dambre? (which are not partof the neroli portofino collection)

This was much better on my skin than on paper. At first (on paper) I didn't like it ... too feminine. But for some reason the prominent CHERRY note was LOST on my skin (no pun intended). It was a very boozy liqueur with a hint of cherry. Not sure if it's full bottle worthy ...yet.

Added this one to my collection last month. Reminds me of House of Sillage #1 but stronger. A true winner if you enjoy cherry aromas with a sweet punch. Regarding my favorite Tom Fords (I own the entire line), my top three are Amber Absolute, Black Violet, and then Moss Breches. I dislike Oud Mineral and Noir Anthracite very, very much.

The dry down was pleasant but the opening is just too much in your face cherry. To me it’s like burying your nose in a cherry pie. Give it a few hours or so and it’s got a nice smooth aroma reminiscent of Parfums de Marly Herod (a far superior fragrance in every regard). I also think it has limited application in terms of versatility/occasion but overall a nice release 7/10
