Tom Ford’s price increases have really put a lot of people off to include myself. The scents may be good but there are far better compositions that can be found at reasonable prices. Thanks for the review.

I just tried the new Tom Ford Noir Extreme Parfum and though it is good, to me it doesn't have what I love about Noir Extreme. Noir extreme gives me chocolate in the entrance, Parfum gives me as mentioned Vanilla and tabacco, very much like Tabacco vanille, almost exactly like it. Noir extreme is the one for me.

Just wait for the clones. I would NEVER pay for what Tom Ford charges. Just like Roja or other high brands. I understand they use high quality ingredients, or they tells us, and I see needing to charge more for that reason. But they GORGE your check book for 100s of times only for profit. I'd say 50 to 100 bucks for the actual raw ingredients. But to charge 500 to 900 bucks?? That's crazy. But I guess if you have that kind of change, it doesn't matter. And that's what they bank on. Same with Tom Ford clothes line. 3000.00 for a shirt or pair of pants??? Middle-eastern fragrance houses are the best for giving bang for your buck. And some scents are totally amazing. Not to mention the packaging. All that...for 20 to 60 bucks. Can't beat that! I gave up on designer brands too. Almost same scent profile on new releases.

@@AccentBwoy ... Ah, so you already know I'm not lying. I have over 100 fragrances. I believe only one was 100 buck. And that's because I bought it on eBay. Middle-eastern scents amazing! Some smell very niche or smell expensive. On the plus side, you'll almost never run into someone wearing the same as you. For the price of a cheap designer brand with the SAME DNA as the majority, you can buy a more complex aroma. And those boxes and bottles alone are worth the price!

Noir Extreme is my favorite date night frag of all time. I picked up a large spray decant of NE Parfum. I like it very much, it's quite different on skin than the OG. I wonder if in addition to introducing new notes, if they decreased the amount of Kulfi in this frag, as it is much, much less sweet than the OG.

The dry down smells very similar to the origional extreme but the opening has a cigarette smell and people around me agreed. Extreme parfum smells like someone put on the original extreme and went outside and smoked a pack of camels. 🐪 it also wasn’t any stronger on my skin during the dry down and didn’t last longer. You have to really like the opening to buy this over the original

Tried this last weekend and it's a bit smoother and spicier but doesn't seem to have the depth of the EDP but nonetheless another good release.

Thanks for the review Steven. The recent TF prices hikes are rather off putting. It now places the regular line in niche territory so this is definitely one I need to sample first. If I shop around I can get more exclusive Amouage, Killian and Xerjoff fragrances on offer at a comparable price which makes TF overpriced and therefore less of an attraction.
