My skin type is oily. The Danessa Myricks Blurring Powder Balm is the only primer I've come across that keeps my oils from making me look greasy. When it comes to foundations I usually go for Matte foundations, but I'll try anything as long they have a pretty good shade match for my skin. 🙂

@liannasierra3062 That DM blurring balm powder I love it, it definitely balances your oil production and keeps it at bay. I try all formulas of foundation too you just don’t know what might work😀💜💛

Hey Julie. I don’t know if you have the LA girl blue foundation pigment already but if you don’t, it will definitely help tone down the red/orange tone in foundations. I still can’t believe makeup brands still think all black women have orange or red undertones

Hey Xpn, no I don’t have it but if I have to be a chemist myself I’ll just use the foundations that actually work for me. If I can’t make it work with concealer and powder for $50 bucks I shouldn’t have to do anything else. These brands have to get it together, I have no problem sticking with the same ole same😀💛💜. Have you tried this foundation?

@@JustBeautybyJuliePI only use the pigment to mix drugstore foundations- I only buy high end foundations that are an exact undertone because of their price point. I haven’t tried any of the born this way foundations because I don’t like matte foundations

Hi Julie! Middle of the night again! I love the foundation! It looks so very natural, It really does work well with your undertones! I think I will try the C.T. mascara I'm a mascara junkie! You only wore minimal makeup in this video, but you still looked soft glowy and perfectly polished for the day. I like the no lashes look for a " I need to run errands and still look lovely and sleek day", Very pretty! 🌹💕💞

I didn't think the oil was that bad considering how long you had your makeup on. I never got more than five hours out of any primer or foundation without having to blot when I was oily, and it was about the amount you showed on the paper. You are persuading me to try Too Faced again. My skin is more normal now because I accidentally gave myself a chemical peel after using an astringent that was too harsh for my skin. My skin was peeling so bad like I had a bad sunburn for about eight weeks, but when it recovered I wasn't oily anymore. I have some dry prone spots around the mouth because I go too hard with the cotton rounds when I apply toner. I really enjoy exfoliating. I like both finishes, just depends on my mood or where I'm going. Still waiting on my blue look and dark lip 🙂

CarynJoy, I got you this week with that look. I’m gonna film it and post it this week. Primers and foundations have gotten so much better in the last few years. My skin is still super-super oily if I don’t prep it with some kind of oil controlling product. What I’m learning now is if I’m not sure I’m going to like a product I ask for a sample I usually can do about 3 applications with it and it will help me gauge if it’s a keeper😀💜💛. That’s why I’m super picky about what I use on my skin you just never know how it’s going to affect your skin 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. Even after sun damage my skin is still oily and that was at 16. You should only go over your face once with the toner, save your skin now while you still have the chance 😁. I do a physical exfoliant 3 times a week and exfoliating toner every day you don’t want to destroy this skins barrier to the point of no repair 👩🏾‍🔧

I should do samples more. I always wanna go full size on everything. I hear you on the toner, I need more self control, but it's my most favorite part of my routine, it's hard for me to pull back. But I hear you, I need to be kind to my skin.

You are gorgeous!! 🌺 The foundation looked pretty! (They did oxidize but wow you look amazing). If I want my lashes to have length, I use my Milani Highly Rated Tubing Mascara or my Gucci. Hahaha yes! I always need more blush. I have to try that L’Oreal blush!! The color was wonderful❤ I have to try the Sephora powder, I’ll probably get some during the Sephora sale. That Revolution highlighter is beautiful! Your nails look beautiful!! Your makeup looked good at the check in and end of the day❤

@@JustBeautybyJulieP DO NOT GET LASH SERUMS!! It has come out that it has caused orbital fat loss in people! Meaning, there is an ingredient that causes people to have sunken in eyes. Also, it has shown to cause blue eyes to turn brown. You cannot fix any issue.
