@@leoruivos I agree with that. But definitely this comes with experience as I didn't even know about the rules about: 1. Attack declaration 2. Battle Step 3. Damage step Especially... by default the toggle button is not displayed lol... When I started the game I wish I had even a simple guide about it to avoid some mistakes or knowing the existence of the toggle rules. So I think if this kind of guide could be made to help those who are still struggling with it, it could be a great help, especially for those who started the game recently.

If the game delays to give your opponent an activation prompt during your main phase, his face down can't be cards like WOD or Drowning unless he has multiple back row. Another common case is after you summon a monster there's a delay, but not for the rest of the turn means it was floodgate

I think the most informative videos and to some extent, would help newer players to detect face downs are those replays with commentary over it. Considering that you’d pause and talk about the timing checks and explain your logic, its essentially a guide on figuring out face downs.

@Duel Links Meta I think a guide on KZbin on how to predict opponent cards depending on delay can be very instructive. Personally, by watching you play live so many times I kinda got the idea on how it works but I cannot say I master that either. But maybe it would be best to divide that into 3 or 4 parts videos 5-7 min each like: Vid 1: Introduction guide Vid 2: Advanced guide Vid 3: Expert guide Keep up the good work man. Instead of demise try 2 planet pathfinders and 1 toon rollback. I run this deck with that (& 2 sphere kuribohs instead of econ) more otks a little more consistent

@@ocherwei It's a normal summon toon with 1900 attack, the only alternative is red archery girl(1400). It still has to wait to attack but it has a decent, albiet situational, effect that can help. Toons are resource intensive, see, and they like to crap special summons to get the one tribute toon dark magician girl out quick. It's better than the alternatives and, when run along side three red archery girl you couldn, in theory, crap two dark magician girl in one turn,

@@angryknight7393 I assume the guy had the perfect hand. I wish I saved the replay but he got toon magician girl out, searched for Toon Rollback and otk'd. Pretty much every deck bricks at some point. Adding in one Toon Rollback that you can search for with Toon Table of Contents doesnt seem like a huge trade off to me. That leaves you with two open slots (from removing 3 Demise of the Land) to run more toons or cards to help get toon magician girl out of or into your hand.

Well for ex when u need to draw TDMG u might draw jinzo jector or jinzo when in fact u need to go for that direct damage..plus if u have toon kingdom on the field it s almost practicly as having jinzo because they cant target ur monsters and u can avoid their destruction.. Well in the end feel free to test it out yourself but in my opinion that doesnt make the deck better ! Cheers!

Toon only player here. These are not by any account "new" toons, it's a Demise of the Land It's a Toon World tribute list, which has been one of the main ways to play the archetype since Demise came out, and TDMG has been at two for a few months now. This list also falls into a surprising amount of beginner pitfalls for such a high-profile channel, like forgoing monster negation for outright monter destruction because people can't help themselves but put TTH on low trap lists even if it's a bad card on them, running too many lvl6's (any hand on the first list that doesnt's start with Relinkuriboh, Mermaid, or ToC is unplayable, that's 7/20 cards) dropping a Chalice, and a lot of misunderstandings about how Toons work. Granted, this list is most likely based on Not_A_Peanut's list on reddit, and he understands the archetype, while I'm not sure you do. Falling into teching Psychyc Ace and dropping the Chalices entirely is basically an ID for poor toon deckbuilding, for a myriad of reasons that are kinda long to type here. At least you dropped the TTH and don't run Rollback, that's something. I'm glad it worked for you, though. This deck is 90% experimentation, and Kingdom/World protection is basically malleable to the decks you're facing.
