Hi Brian would you be willing to answer a quick two part question? Can leveraged ETFs have splits? Is there a way to check the history of stocks to see all the dates and split information? On things like Robinhood I'm afraid you see "all time highs" and think maybe it will go back BUT it isn't giving those important details to factor in. Thank you in advance from everybody this question possibly helps. *I believe YINN would make a good example, I can't make sense of the max chart.

VGT outperformed SCHD and VOO over 5 and 10 years. Despite having most of my $500k retirement in VGT, I try to beat my Roth with my taxable account but still underperform the S&P 500.

I'm taking a hybrid approach with VGT, SCHD, and VOO as my foundation over a 20-year horizon. I still enjoy life, travel, and buy what I love. It's the best combo, plus I enjoy the small victories of dividends, dividend growth, and share price appreciation.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
@klunnikov4 ай бұрын
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
@ragingchimera80214 ай бұрын
The economy is splitting. There is now the economy of people that have been able to keep up with inflation and maintain their lifestyle, and there are the rest of the people who will live in tents and be forgotten, falling out of the tracked economy all together. The businesses and companies associated with the former will continue to grow, the businesses associated with the latter will suffer.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

But it has a much lower return than SMH. Over the past three years, a $100K invested in both would result in making $26,000 LESS with SOXQ over the same 3 year period. Expense ratios are too much of a concern as long as the total returns (after expenses) are better than the S&P 500 index. I do agree it is harder to overcome higher expenses but looking at the leveraged funds, it does so in spades. I've had CURE for several years as my first foray into leveraged funds and am fairly happy. If I were more active by putting stop losses and buying back in, I'm sure my returns would've been better but hard to time the market; so, time in the market is proving to be pretty good.

Hi Brian, I respect your technology recommendations and your tech analysis. I like having the leveraged funds in my back pocket that you mentioned in this video. But J H Cris. Don't put people in leveraged funds at a what is likely a local maxima in the stock market. The five year prediction along with the possible returns from a leveraged fund will make some people so greedy that they'll lose half of their money. I just sold my SMH, which is likely a mistake given the long term trend. But there is no way I'd buy leverage to the upside right now. I'll definitely buy SMH if it corrects back to 230. I'll heavily overweight it if it corrects back to 190 or so ( $190 is the 200 day MA.) I'll back up the truck if it hits $135 (the 200 week MA), because I do believe in the long term trend. Being in the stock market for the long term is OK. Being leveraged in the stock market for the long term is not OK.

I honestly don't understand why you're discussing these dubious schemes. There are plenty of options like Eledator and similar ones that are fast and profitable.

@@Mile-High-Denver I'm sorry, "facts aren't necessary"? If that was how I approached my videos, then people would have every right to complain. However, I support my videos with facts, and I also provide the spreadsheets for others to research further on their own. I appreciate you sharing your opinion, but it seems baseless and without merit. If facts elude you, then please share your common sense with the broader group.

As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.

Well as you know bigger risk, bigger results, but such impeccable high-value trades are often carried out by pros.

People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions. I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. She has helped me raise my reserve from $275k to $850k, despite inflation.
