Al it's awesome you got in touch with Toro a great USA company headquartered in MN. I hope in the spring Toro will let you review all the different voltages in their outdoor power equipment. The 60V the 40 V and 20V tools. I love my Toro gas mower and electric blower! Awesome Score for you!!! You the man, Al.

@@Impact-OG I hope the spring brings more Toro reviews from honest KZbin reviews like you. This would be a big improvement from the ECO shills (Kite Army) that have done bad comparison reviews in the past. Toro makes great products and they need more exposure for their battery powered products. I hope you have access to a large lawn and trimming areas for good reviews in the spring of the 40v and 60v tools!!! If not the 20V reviews and comparisons to Ryobi and others would be awesome. Maybe you and Ryobi man Caver can share some equipment if needed.

Been watching a lot of videos on this Toro but on the fence about buying! I believe if they would put snow shoes on the bottom it would slide much better over things like ruff pavement and grassy areas that might need to be cleaned off. Also protect the bottom from damage by raising it about 1/4" off the ground. I hope Toro is listening!
@practicalguy9732 жыл бұрын
Yup all the 2 stage blowers I've used have the front skids that raise the front up a half inch or so. Not everyone wants a scrapper so they should include that as a removable option. My pavement is rough in a couple spots with cracks and pot hole patches that have a lip and my walkway is even more rough with some hard pack dirt trail/grass and a gravel area. The gas 2 stage can go there without much fuss. I might just make some ski skids and a little bracket to mount them since the Toro e21 is all metal on the bottom sides. Another video I watched suggested making from plastic cutting board. I imagine cut into thin strips and melted into ski shape. This Toro seems pretty good though in rough areas with only minimal catching. Apparently one of the Koblat electric single stage blowers has the front shoe skids but it seems like it has other customer complaints and a plastic auger in what I've seen. Anything with a plastic auger is a no go for really chopping through the hard ice chunks well. Toro seems like the best option.

Love mine! Bought it in September 2022 and 3 months later, Toro offered their newest version of it. Self-driving wheels and a greater capacity option for the battery. I think that's the main differences. Either way, this is an excellent snowblower! I had the same weather conditions in Toronto as you've shown in the video.

I bought a Toro gas snowblower but neither myself or home depot could get it to start. So, I upgraded to this unit. I just got to use it on 12/9 and it was a champ and I was able to do my whole driveway in under 20 minutes. I had to use it 4 times and it didn't drain it under 2 bars.

A good review on this is does look good. For now keep using my 2 cycle snapper. Fresh fuel starts on the third pull. And it's about 20 years old all original parts. I did buy it in winter paid 500 for it. These are 750 that pretty high for what it is.
@Impact-OG2 жыл бұрын
Yes I was quiet surprised that It works so well. I also have an old gas blower that sill runs good. All you have to do is drain the carb and boom your good to go. I did receive the newest Lithely snow blower so that video will be out in the next few days. Thanks for watching
@practicalguy9732 жыл бұрын
That is my concern, My gas blower ran for 15 years before selling it. Lithium battery anything is expensive and complicated electronics for brushless motors and to keep the battery system healthy. On the flip side thinking about gas costs if I got 3 or 4 years from the battery and charger before it kicks that would be close to my added up fuel and oil costs. On power tools batteries that I use frequently that is about the time some of the batteries don't hold much charge anymore. Plus electricity costs are on the rise. In 20 years things could be very different.

This Toro snowblower is the real deal. If you’re throwing snow at a depth of less than 12-14 inches, you will be perfectly satisfied, and no gasoline! Get two batteries or you’ll be kicking yourself sooner rather than later. If you have a Toro dealer in your town, buy from them. The unit comes assembled, warranty is taken care of for you, and they’ll put it in your Jeep for you.

My biggest concern is how many years you would get out of the battery. In Canada here the cost of the battery is about 500 bucks. I decided to bo with the Toro 724 qxe, I recommend looking at the you tube videos and reading the reviews. That is what made my decision
@Impact-OG5 жыл бұрын
Yes that I'd a fair point, only time will tell, I mean Toro says it's good down to 30 below but it doesn't give a run time at that temp. I know they give you a 3 year warranty. I will dona follow up next year. Thanks for watching man
@withinavoid5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Toro says the battery should last the life of the blower. If that's true then it's a great deal. If not and only lasts as long as the warranty then paying another $350 US every 3 years is really dumb.

Awesome review! When you did a side take on the video I could see it looked like that tiny snow blower threw the snow about twice the length of your height. I am not sure your height. If you are close to 6 feet in height that would mean it could shoot 12 feet! That's impressive! And when you showed the lights lighting the driveway it really illuminated the whole video shot! Good to know because one guys review on the ego's lights was not good. And not surprising because they do dumb tac like that! Anyway your review was awesome, thanks.

Nice review, however if you check any actual owner review online it’s got a very poor rating, only paid reviews done on KZbin are showing it in a positive light, the steel augur doesn’t seem to have any added benefits over thick rubber but flexible augurs, imagine the steel augur hitting the side of driveway or any metal, it will bend and deform, no flex, and to replace the whole augur in one piece? Good attempt by toro but in the real world it’s proving to be not very good, check home depot inventories, they are full of these in midwinter
@Impact-OG4 жыл бұрын
Well I like it, I feel its better than the Ego, its light and easier to push. Home depot has tons of inventory on a lot of stuff because no one is buying anything because shit is just to expensive!!! I was there last night and they still had tons of Christmas deals just sitting there, and the store was dead I didnt see 1 person in it. But only time will tell if it will last so we will see. THanks for watching

Same for EGO. Bought one and returned after the first use. Waist of $650. It caught on every imperfection on the sidewalk, a lot more work to use than it should be for $650. Bought a toro 518zr $349 and works a lot better in every aspect. I’m not afraid of gas maintenance when it cost almost 50% less and works far better. The steel auger should never touch anything, the scraper bar is what touches the ground just like any 2-3 stage...... If I were to invest in a battery snowblower again, this would be my first choice, looks well thought out and gonna last. Ego makes nice stuff, but they need to improve on the snowblower for sure.
