When yoy switch to manual mode it doesn't necessarily shift to 4th gear. It just sets the maximum gear your car can shift to.

If it's the dual VVTI than it makes 270 hp and 278 tq. If it's the single VVTI than it's 236 hp and 266 tq.

NEDAL SHARAH The Fortuner has a good design but the driving feel while driving it not very good.The Prado has a old design yet it has a more better driving feel and it is more capable for off-roading

Thanks a lot, I'm from Colombia, sadly here we don't get this version, V6 4.0 liters, we only get the 2.8 diesel and the 2.7 gas. So I was wondering its cost abroad to see how much it is to import this one.

All the best for your purchase, try to import the V6 otherwise go with a manual transmission with the existing 4 cylinders so that you can hold the gears and better utilise the power; provided you can live with a manual in city traffic, pleasure of using a stick shift aside.
