Why were nt these tractors introduced in t Deere's most important market?The United States.Those 4 tracks on the 8RX are going to be much more expensive to maintain then the 2 rear ones on the red CaseiH Magnum rowtrac

Yeah. You'd think they'd introduce them in the land that made them. I wouldn't be surprised if you'll be able to get the 8RX with just two tracks like a New Holland or Case.

...do you guys REALLY think that it isn't going to be offered in the North American market just because this event wasn't in 'Murica?! For fuck's sake; it's 2019 and Deere is an international brand - the location of new product reveals is IRRELEVANT. It's not like we're all watching this because we wrote the date down of the show - we're here because we heard about the RX. As far as 2 tracks vs 4 - if this was really a significant enough of a difference, then twin track full size tractors(JD 9RT series, Challenger's full size fixed frames) would dominate the top end of the market over articulated quad tracks. Honestly, given some of the more problematic terrain compositions around the world, the additional front pair of tracks of the RX will be a selling point, while Case will be putting out adds trying to walk the marketing tight rope of "2 extra tracks only drive up maintenance costs/the rear tracks are still worth the additional maintenance over the wheeled model/our QuadTrac is the best!"

They only copied have these off Caseih and Caterpillar ,really exclusive JD.

...and Case only copied it from the aftermarket, who has offered conventional track conversions for DECADES before Case ever did anything - but, yea, totally original idea from Case that no one else had ever considered

RyTrapp0 Caseih had the guts to put it into full scale production, while JD sits back to see how it goes before committing or rather copying just like the RT ,copied off Caterpillar . Same as the IHC axial flow ,IHC developed and perfected it ,JD bags them out then twenty years later they bring out their own rotary combine. JD invents nothing ,just pinches everyone else's tech.
