If they’re going to continue with these prices, they should increase the monthly allowance for doing activities. They could even put a cap on it like with seasonal currencies so people are encouraged to spend. They also really need to bring more interesting items to the shop, but having cool items won’t matter if people can barely afford to get 2 “good” items in a month.

I agree in part, and it is a slippery slope if Blizzard adds additional ways to get tenders, the worst of them being able to use RL money we need to avoid that at all costs. My suggestion for gaining additional tenders would be after you finished the bar, it halves itself (500, 250, 125) maybe along with the reward points so while you can continue doing the list of activities the points takes about the same time to fill. This way people that really want to get THE max have a challenge and others can just do the normal amount and move on

@@ThomasdWell yeah I agree. Luckily Blizzard got heavy pushback last year when a lot of the store bundles were including tender so they’ve stopped “for now”. I think the last time they sold us tender for real money is TWW expansion. I’m fine with 500 being the “normal” track and then having say, every adventure objective after that awarding 5-20 tender. The biggest drawback I could see to that is if blizzard started planning their pricing around the assumption that every player would go beyond the normal track, or lower the credit objectives give so the normal track is more tedious to fill. Personally I’d rather just keep it as-is and instead lower the costs, but I’m open to either change.

They're putting all these high prices for the items because when people such as yourself say " I wish there were alternate ways of getting more currency" They can add a cash shop option and also pat themselves on the back for "Listening to the community feedback"

They already tried that though back in DF, and the playerbase pushed back *hard.* What I think is, the prices were high to begin with to, like you say, encourage people to buy tender with cash. They scrapped the purchasable tender from the cash shop scheme, but never lowered the tender costs.

So thought the beeping was a truck outside my house backing into my or the neighbor's driveway to deliver a package. That out of the way, I feel if they want to increase their player metrics then we need a way to earn more tender per month and that would include allowing us to still get tender for doing other activities we normally don't do. Example, I don't do Player verse Player anymore, but if I could do my normal activities and if I really wanted a few extra tender then maybe I would PvP for that extra. It would help me out and help people that play PvP content strictly by giving even faster que times and maybe I learn to like that activity again. We definitely do not need a way to pay for tender like they did early into trying it.

I would have switched the squid with the Ragged transmog, the transmog is unique and I'm certain everyone would want it which is the point of the monthly reward, those that would miss out will still get a chance when it shows up to be bought for tenders as how the Trading Post should work. Free cool stuff for being subbed each month and if you miss out you have to save your Tenders for it later that's the deal that Blizzard has somehow managed to forget a few times in a row.

Yes you can use a wow token (CURRENTLY IN YOUR BAGS) to restart a sub. The game asks you if you want to when you start up again.

I feel like the harvest golem will have a recolor from another source. The one in the trading post for October doesn't match the color scheme of the actual harvest golems in-game. I may hold out for that version, though it may be paid. Overall this is a disappointing October TP. They could have re-skinned the hand mount to be a skeleton or zombie hand. They could have brought back the broom. They could have added some pumpkin themed weapons. Even the scare-crow ensemble is more fall and only Halloween adjacent. It could have worked for November and nobody would have batted an eye.

Can you not do that already? Anyway, that’s not what they’re saying here. The *class* restrictions for the trading post class weapon/armor ensembles are being lifted. So, a Paladin can use the Shaman Mace transmog, Rogues can use the Warlock Dagger transmog, etc.

If that jellyfish thing /does/ have increased swim speed, I'm pretty confident it will not skyride. The others don't, iirc, nor does the otterworldly ottuk, and I think I remember seeing something that the swim speed boost code prevents them getting either skyride or increased steady flight (The Ottuk for example is still only at 430% (total) when flying, compared to 540% for nearly any other steady flight mount. )

The arelids fly. But if you're in sky riding mode they will slow to normal speed in water. If you're in classic flight mode then it works. It's a bug and they still haven't addressed it. It was a problem in beta too.
