You guys sure have a great collection of top notch RC's. It's always nice to see how stuff is installed as it helps everyone. I don't own an XMaxx but who know maybe some day. It's almost like a 2 person job getting the front end on. It's huge! Awesome job on this video. Very enjoyable seeing the innards of the XMaxx for the first time. 👍

Great how to video assuming that was your daughter she’s very steady and kudos to her for sticking that out with you and as far as that servo goes, the real test is when you set it down in the yard never tried a Traxxas 600 series i’m really curious how that server works out for you.

@@legendmuzzy1422 WOW we really appreciate the amazing comment 💯 I'm so glad our video can help you, that is what it is all about, the video was so worth it now..You will definitely be happy with the Reefs Servo that is a top of the line part, you may have to do a little extra trimming of the chassis where the servo fits down in, I have seen many people do it over the years it is totally fine, you will see what I'm talking about when you put it in place, I can not wait to show your comment to my daughter when she gets up she loves the nice comments, your comment will make her day, thanks again for the comment and sub, it really means a lot to us...if you need any other help reach out here again I will get back to you...💯👍👍

If my current 2085x takes a dump on me i will try this one. My last 2085x lasted about a year of heavy (ab)use
@andyb99947 ай бұрын
That's a good idea, servos are expensive don't change one that works, I've actually had good luck with the standard 2085 plastic gear servo, I have had a couple 2085X servos go a while ago but lately all good....

08:00. The 2085 is better than the 2085 x in my personal opinion... The X seems to break faster than the BLUE STOCK 2085.. I just got 2085R. Lets see how they perform.. I will be doing a 2085R video also

You won't get any arguments from me, I had no reason to replace other than trying this new one, Blue one is in my parts collection...Thanks watching we appreciate it 💯

It's holding up well, it's still in and I have been bashing it for months now with no issues!!!! Thanks for watching I say go.for it!!!!!

Awesome video. I'm curious to see how that servo holds up, and did you upgraded your steering spring already.
@andyb99948 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching!!!! yes I already had a stronger spring in this Xmaxx, I'm also curious to see how this new servo holds up, I will let you guys know!!!! Thanks again 💯
@alankowalski87817 ай бұрын
Stronger for sure, but still slow as hell. For that kind of money there are still a lot better servos out there
@andyb99947 ай бұрын
Yep definitely always something better, but I will run it to see how it does... 👍👍

How does it perform while driving? My stock xmaxx really lacks in the steering on high bite surfaces.
@andyb99948 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching, Honesty I haven't used it on a run yet, but it definitely has more power and speed from what I've seen already on the bench and floor,Hope to run soon, weather sucks here!!! 👍👍
@lowblueranger8 ай бұрын
Cool, maybe you’ll be able to test it soon. It has been raining here all last week, good weather today but too wet still. I was getting ready to upgrade the servo on mine and was going to do the standard servo swap, but this would be easier if it’s a good servo. Let me know if you like it once you put some run time with it.

Do you need the servo horn and the servo Horn bearings?
@andyb99946 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching!!!! No you do not need any other servo horn or bearing. Any factory Traxxas Xmaxx servo horn will work, and if your bearing is good then no need to replace it!!!! Thanks Again 💯

@@ilove_hyper-cars0748Thanks for the sub and watching, you will be good to just drop that servo right in any Xmaxx, you won't need anything special...Plastic or aluminum servo horn will work...if you need any other help just ask, glad to help 💯
