I love the fact that the head of the recon moves unlike the ghost. Is the recon a good option for a bass boat, or is the ghost still lowrances recommended.

why do you love it? What is profit of that? To me this motor is step back instead of moving forward.

@@fishing_life_cathe arrow on the ghost can lag and its not perfectly in line with the actual shaft and prop. It’s a lot easier to make accurate cast using active target with a motor that’s head moves. Just a personal opinion.

i ordered for this to fit on my Bass Tracker classic xl should I return and get the Ghost?

@@slimslamma3679 a few things I would consider would be deck space, are you using Active Target, and are you using the foot pedal or remote. If the deck space is limited and you are using the remote instead of foot pedal I would keep the recon. If you are using the foot pedal, have the deck space and maybe not using active target it get the ghost.

@@alecbarrett3607 dual active target and a Beatdown transducer pole. So I felt the Lowrance Recon would be perfect. After doing some more homework I noticed the Ghost is what Lowrance suggest for bass boats but I think I should be ok with mounting the Recon. Thank You

Why would you want your hand over the screen of the remote while pushing buttons?? Terrible design just like everything they make
